HOPE FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Each year, local businesses and individuals donate winter coats, age-appropriate educational toys, pajamas, books in multiple languages, and gift cards for food to provide basic needs for 400+ children and families partnering with Family Building Blocks.

To focus on health and safety during COVID-19, we produced our first online event to share how we adapted services and promote the need for Sustainers. The live stream received over 5,500 views.

HOME VISITS CONDUCTED (IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL)

DORIS’S PLACE OPENS CLASSROOM

Doris’s Place is now offering Therapeutic Classroom services and Respite Care. Along with four new classrooms in Woodburn and southeast Salem, Family Building Blocks now operates a total of 17 Therapeutic Classrooms in Marion and Polk counties.

With growing and changing needs during the pandemic and families displaced by wild fires, our community mobilized to care for children and families in the Santiam Canyon. Special thanks to you and our staff who acted swiftly to meet the immediate needs of our families.

This anticipated online auction In place of our annual luncheons, Raising over $115,000 for children and event uplifted our community, we shared Natallea’s incredible and families, this online auction received over 2,000 views, and family story online, highlighting the celebrated elaborately decorated raised over $230,000. Since 2008, need for Dream Builder multi-year community-focused trees and Uncorked has helped raise over pledges and continued support for wreaths, luxury gifts, toys, wine, $4M for children and families. the children and families we serve. trips, self-care items, and more.
