Pitch. Families North London learned more
A state-of-the-art 3G Pitch has offi cially been opened by professional footballers from Tottenham Hotspur and Leyton Orient.
The new £250,000 3G Pitch was developed over six months and is a full-size adult pitch which splits into a variety of smaller pitches to suit the needs of school and clubs, and works for different age groups.
Inspired by the heroics of England Women's National Team over the summer, a group of Broomfield girls
were coached on the new pitch by player Jessica Naz from Spurs.
Jess, who was named Spurs Women’s Young Player of the Year last season, later spoke to the girls about her journey to Spurs Women's First Team, the importance of teamwork and commitment and her hopes that more local girls will aspire to follow in the footsteps of England’s Lionesses.
