GO EAST at Monkey World this Easter
Monkey World are fundraising for their charity EAST (Endangered Asian Species Trust) who are preparing to release gibbons back into the wild in Vietnam.
The gibbons were rescued from the black market trade, and to ensure their safety in the forest, the team need to buy new radio collars so they can track their journey back to the wild. Learn all about their work and join in on the stalls, trails, games & activities during the Easter holidays to help put gibbons back into the trees!
You can also see over 250 rescued monkeys and apes. Many of the primates have been neglected, kept in unnatural conditions, or experienced unbelievable cruelty. Monkey World rehabilitates them back into family groups, where they can all enjoy the company of their own kind in a safe and natural environment.
Over the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend, Monkey World will also be giving away free Easter Eggs daily to the first 100 children into the park. Visit www.monkeyworld.org for details.
