Lowestoft Maritime Museum, in Sparrow’s Nest Gardens, is looking forward to a fun-filled start to the new season.

Maritime marvels

The museum tells the story of Lowestoft’s development as an important port and is host to a fascinating collection of maritime objects including the much coveted Prunier trophy and the heroic Spot’s shiny dog collar. Families can pick up an explorer’s bucket, get hands-on with sea faring objects or follow Captain Crabbe’s adventure trail. Would be sailors can even find out how to navigate - without using a Sat Nav!

On Wednesday 10th and 17th April, during the Easter holidays, from 11-3pm young visitors can get crafty with the museum team and make a maritime memory of their own to take home.
