Get ready for an icy adventure and go on “A Journey Through Time” as you walk through history and step into the future and once again see the “coolest” sculptures lining the streets.

Enjoy a wander and see the spectacular display of snowdrops in Goldsborough Hall’s 12-acre grounds, available for viewing on the 5th & 19th February 2023.

With so many different corners to explore, no two visits to Dalby Forest will ever be the same! 13 walking trails, 6 cycling trails, 4 running trails, visitor centre, shop, 2 play areas, Go Ape, Café, bike shop & hire, activity centre, dogs welcome.

Activities included an opportunity to do some stargazing with expert astronomers at some of the best locations in the Park, night-time fell running, night-time photography, nighttime canoeing and mindful stargazing. There was also plenty of family friendly fun such as rocket making, nocturnal wildlife talks and planet trails.

Explore the world of polar science including research into topics like the effects of climate change on the Antarctic, plastic in Antarctic oceans, Antarctic food webs, Alien invaders and the history of Antarctic exploration. Find out how researchers live and work in such challenging climates and why the work they are doing is so important, for the planet and all who live on it.

CRAFTY TALES is a weekly craft and storytelling session run by professional theatre makers; Cassie and Janet of Story Craft Theatre. Each session starts with big hellos, warm-up games and songs, followed by crafting altogether and then into the interactive storytelling. Watch your little one’s confidence, language and social skills grow, week by week, as they discover a wider world through story. Aimed at ages 2-5.

Put your whiskers to the test in our Best Beard Competition or explore exquisite Viking goods at our 10th Century Traders stalls. The Vikings will also return to muster their fearsome armies with the March to Coppergate through the city centre.
