Preliminary Data

As the Fallen Soldiers March network of counseling grew, we immediately recognized the need to monitor and track the progress of both counselees and counselors.

Discussions with Dr. Bob Olender, the creator of Biblicare, resulted in both his desire to join the Fallen Soldiers March Senior Advisory Board and a generous donation to help us deploy and train counselors on the Biblicare software package.

While we are still adding data and documenting both current cases and previous cases, the data and insight we have achieved from Biblicare show both the immense need and value of these services.

MO firmly believes in the sufficiency of Scripture and the roles of the local church, prayer, and accountability in living a purposeful, content life. The continued discipleship process, also referred to as Aftercare , is vital to ensuring a graduate is successful and supported upon returning to his or her daily life. Professional and longterm care is critically important for those who need it. When a cohort graduates from a MO one-week intensive Legacy program, at the request of the Legacy Program graduate, MO session mentors contact FSM and assist the graduate in requesting an aftercare program follow-up in the form of biblical counseling. FSM’s MO Coordinator then works to pair each graduate with a biblical counselor. The FSM MO coordinator initially searches for a counselor who is near the graduate in order to facilitate face-to-face counseling. When that objective is not possible, the FSM coordinator identifies a counselor who will counsel remotely via Zoom or Skype. FSM will also facilitate for graduates needing assistance with Biblical, which is the software management tool. FSM uses Biblical software to keep track of the counseling that all 80+ FSM counselors are gifting.

We will continue to update this data but these are our current estimates

4,725 Hours of Counseling

5.5 Months Average Time With A Counselor

189 Clients

$590,625 Estimated Value Of Counseling Services

Male counselors are assigned to men, and female counselors are assigned to women. For marriage counseling, male counselors are assigned and, when possible, both a male and female counselor are assigned to a marrie d couple. The FSM counselor then meets regularly, usually weekly, with the MO Legacy graduate for as long as it takes to help the graduate deal with his or her issues biblically. FSM is committed to ACBC and IABC standards that reinforce MO’s objective that each graduate become s part of a local church body and attends regularly.

Some of this data has been extrapolated from existing cases and represents averages across all cases. Each case is unique and may require more or less time with a counselor; in many cases the initial individual counseling will also evolve into whole family or marital counseling.

Quarterly Newsletters

Each quarter Fallen Soldiers March distributes an e-mail newsletter to subscribers and also publishes the articles online. These articles are contributed by Advisory Board members as well as other thought leaders in the Biblical Counseling community and others touched by the efforts of Fallen Soldiers March.

Early on we recognized the traditional social media outlets were not a reliable communication channel for our message.

Our views are firmly grounded in Christian beliefs and values, and often conflict with “cancel culture.” Although we seek to always act and communicate with equal parts compassion and conviction, even the basic idea that the Bible is inspired, inerrant, and infallible, authoritative and sufficient for all matters has drawn us into conflict with media and technology giants.

Because of this, our primary method of communication has been direct emails and our website.

The Lord has blessed us with an incredible variety of authors that are moved to share their ideas and stories, and the quality of their work is clearly evident in the statistics. The “open rate” of our emails has consistently DOUBLED the industry averages, and we have new subscribers daily. Many of our newsletter articles receive thousands of views on our website, long after the initial publication.

We have published the titles and author by-lines for several of these articles below to give you an idea of the content and quality of material available. To read each piece in it’s entirety and the entire selection of articles we have not included here, please visit www.FallenSoldiersMarch.com
