rom seedlings planted in the 1700s in America and Europe, to the first blossoms born in the laboratory of Wundt and the psychoanalytical couch of Freud in the late 1800s, the church has increasingly surrendered its belief in the sufficiency of Scripture to address all matters of life and faith (2 Peter 1:3 and others). As the western culture, including its seminaries, ever-increasingly prioritized the scientism of psychology and psychiatry in addressing the problems of the heart and soul, the church found itself abandoning its role and responsibility to counsel to the fields of secular psychology and integrationism. We invite you to read how The Lord is blessing our mission and welcome your charitable support to assist us in providing Certified Biblical Counseling to our community of Veterans and First Responders as we work together to return Biblical Soul Care to our churches.

Fallen Soldiers March (FSM) exists to help reduce the 20+ daily Veteran suicides and to assist Veterans, Active Duty Military & First Responder Families seeking to understand how God is sovereign over all His creation and all circumstances. The Fallen Soldiers March gifts Certified Biblical Counseling to help Veterans, Military, and First Responder families overcome the consequences of war. We are counseling Veterans and Military Families to learn to cope with the Consequences of War in ways that glorify God (PTS, traumatic brain injury, blast-Induced brain injury, paralysis, mobility issues, neurological challenges, chemical exposure, moral injury, divorce, addiction, family Issues, and deployment support). We are often able to offer live counseling; however, we also offer remote video counseling via secure Internet based applications. We do not conduct any counseling via social media. If you are a Certified Biblical Counselor who understands the Consequences of War, we need your help providing soul care for Veterans and Military Families. This is sometimes called “Christian Counseling.” This type of counseling is generally practiced by Christians who believe the Bible should be supplemented with psychological theories in order to help people.

Biblical Counseling Uses the Bible to construct a system of counseling to help man deal with his non-physical or immaterial problems of life. This type of counseling is generally practiced by Christians who believe that the Bible has all we need to provide solutions to man’s non-physical, or immaterial problems as well as what the world calls “psychological” problems. They also believe that the Bible can help man function as God intended in life. Definition of Biblical Counseling Biblical counseling can be defined as “using the Word of God (the Bible) within the context it was written to provide solutions and the application of those solutions to non-organic, immaterial, spiritual, and what the world calls ‘psychological’ or ‘mental disorder’ problems.” The Word of God is used in a precise and efficient manner to address these matters. The Word of God is used anticipating the salvation of sinners and the sanctification of saints as a result. Biblical counseling can also be defined as “using the Word of God to give comprehensive answers to non-physical problems on a small group level or one-on-one interpersonal level.”

2023 MISSION REPORT In essence, biblical counseling is applied biblical systematic theology. It is the practical ministry that comes out of knowing and understanding the Bible and the theology of the Bible. Biblical Counseling is the practical, comprehensive ministry of soul care that comes out of knowing, understanding, and applying biblical We have been warned in Scripture not to pursue human wisdom for our insights for living. We are warned in Scripture not to trust human wisdom for principles for living, understanding of human attitudes, motives, behaviors, and our solution for man’s inner problems (problems that are non-organic in nature). See Psalm 1:1—2 and Colossians 2:8.

We are instructed in Scripture that God’s wisdom is sufficient to counsel the inner person (the immaterial aspect of man). See Psalm 119:24, 99, 100, Hebrews 4:12, and Psalm 19:7—11

The goal of FBC in certifying Training Centers is to bring biblical counseling under the authority of the local church. Directors of FBC Training Centers serve under the oversight of local church pastors/elders. FBC offers fellowship among men and women committed to Spirit-filled living, upholding the Word of God as all-sufficient and authoritative for life and godliness, and relying solely on the transforming gospel of Jesus Christ .

Institute of Biblical Counseling & Discipleship (IBCD) Originally founded in 1982, IBCD exists to strengthen churches in one-another care through training resources and events. They serve organizations and individuals who share a passion to see believers equipped through life’s struggles with the Word of God, doing this by offering training, as well as offering counseling resources, events and free resources that are helpful to anyone interested in learning how to better help others.

Our biblically grounded certification process is made up of three phases include Learning, Exams & Evaluations concluding with Supervision.

2023 Soul Care Conference The inaugural conference was an amazing experience, with an incredible line-up of speakers that inspired and moved all who were able to attend both in-person and virtually. The reactions and feedback we received were overwhelming and unanimous; we knew the only response would be to organize a follow up conference reuniting the amazing “dream team.”

2024 Soul Care Conference - April 20th This year we are partnering with Triangle Community Church. They will provide a larger venue with more seating and meeting space, and they have more broadcast and media capabilities. We plan to package the conference into individual lessons which will be available at a later time.. The new host is also just minutes from the Raleigh Durham International Airport with more amenities and lodging.

Quarterly Newsletters Each quarter Fallen Soldiers March distributes an e-mail newsletter to subscribers and also publishes the articles online. These articles are contributed by Advisory Board members as well as other thought leaders in the Biblical Counseling community and others touched by the efforts of Fallen Soldiers March. Early on we recognized the traditional social media outlets were not a reliable communication channel for our message. Our views are firmly grounded in Christian beliefs and values, and often conflict with “cancel culture.” Although we seek to always act and communicate with equal parts compassion and conviction, even the basic idea that the Bible is inspired, inerrant, and infallible, authoritative and sufficient for all matters has drawn us into conflict with media and technology giants. Because of this, our primary method of communication has been direct emails and our website.

George Müller He Simply Published a Report This story inspired and guided Fallen Soldiers March to begin developing our network of Certified Biblical Counselors dedicated to gifting their services to Veterans, First Responders, and their Families - “If you build it, they will come . . .”

George Muller 1805-1898 Written by Patsy Stevens, a retired teacher. George Müller was born in Germany on September 27, 1805. He attended the University of Halle and had a friend named Beta who invited him to a Bible study. They talked of a loving God and knelt when they prayed. Müller’s heart was touched and it was the start of a new life for him.

After two years Henry Craik asked Müller to move to Bristol to work with him. In the 1800s orphans had no one to care for them and had to beg for or steal food in order to survive. People did not have pity on them, and the government put the children in work houses where they worked long hours under the harshest of conditions.

Müller began to pray about starting an orphan house. Money began to come in even though he didn’t solicit money from people. His vision was for the orphan home to be for children who were truly orphaned, having lost both parents.

Charles Dickens’ story of Oliver Twist brought the plight of these unfortunate children to light. In 1835 there were only a dozen orphan homes in all of England and Wales, and they charged fees to care for the children. Poor children who became orphans had to move in with relatives or were sent to work in the workhouses. Müller began to pray about starting an orphan house. Money began to come in even though he didn’t solicit it from people. His vision was for the orphan home to be for children who were truly orphaned, having lost both parents. None would be turned away due to poverty or race. The children would be educated and trained for a trade.

Henry Craik, a man who would have a huge impact on him, offered him a job as pastor “God will provide” at Teignmouth, a small congregation of 18 members. At the church where he preached, “God will provide,” he said. He talked with people the people rented the pews where they sat during the services. about the need for caring for these waifs. 2023 MISSION REPORT During Müller’s lifetime he gave away $700,000 that had been given to him for his personal needs. He spent hours every day studying the Bible and praying. He felt that God was calling him to care for even more orphans. After five weeks of prayer, he determined that God wanted him to build a large facility. It would be expensive, $18,000. That’s the equivalent to $1,000,000 in today’s money.

Veterans Appeal

“The whole army is a vast field, ready and ripe to the harvest . . . The susceptibility of the soldiers to the gospel is wonderful, and, doubtful as the remark may appear, the military camp is most favorable to the work of revival.”

And third, in very recent years, the difficulty of carrying out the duty of a soldier has been increased exponentially by unseen enemies of a different kind. Where other generations of military members have enjoyed being quarantined from the larger culture in matters of sexual ethics and politics, today’s men and women in uniform are being forced to support and defend novel, moral, and political virtues, even if they contradict their own sincerelyheld beliefs. “Don’t ask, don’t tell” has been replaced with, “We’ll ask if you agree, and you’ll tell us you do, or else.” It’s not as catchy, but it definitely gets the point across . . .

For anyone who has been stationed for any period of time at one of our country’s military bases, Mr. Bennett’s remark is at once doubtful and an understatement. Second, gone are the days of clear lines of blue or gray or red, where the enemy can be easily discerned and attacked. Banners, trenches, and the like are things of the past, as well. For years, our military has been called to the task of fighting unseen enemies. There has been a war without borders—a conflict where the adversary is less easily defined by nationality or some other human category than by a term: terror.

The institution that God has given for this purpose is the local church. It is the privilege of Fallen Soldiers March to come alongside churches and ministries that seek to serve this country’s active, reserve, and veteran military members, as well as their communities’ first-responders, help them assist through biblical counseling and training. Recognizing the complexities of training and deployment schedules, the needs of those who have been in combat, and the unique challenges of military families, it is the desire of FSM to participate in the great task of reviving our nation’s military, to the glory of God.

The daily examples of our United States Military personnel’s personification of the principle God spoke through John is often contrasted by our governmental paradox of rhetorically communicating heroism during active duty, yet undermining rules for engagement, compensation, healthcare, and benefits desperately needed by our warriors and their families. We strive to honor our warriors’ selfless and sacrificial actions by inspiring patriotic acts of kindness and conduct to compensate for the historical and current selfishness modeled by many in government leadership. Our vision is to advance the construction of our network of Certified Biblical Counselors, a team dedicated to the sufficiency of Scripture to minister biblical soul care designed to facilitate healing for broken individuals and families. Our hope is to inspire biblical revival and patriotism across America, teaching and leading our children by example.
