Hello and welcome, If you’re a first timer or a seasoned regular at FTH thanks for taking the time to flick through the brochure. I hope that there is something this season that will tempt you through our doors.

I’m delighted to welcome back jazz and blues legend Courtney Pine who last visited FTH around ten years ago at our Way to Blue Festival. This time Courtney is joined by Zoe Rahman in an intimate concert featuring the critically acclaimed Songs (From a Ballad Book).

A rare chance to catch this superb artist.

Rock lovers shouldn’t miss a fantastic night of classic American Rock - Westrock and Hotel California - The Best of the Eagles. The sad loss of Eagles founder Glen Frey, David Bowie and Motorhead’s Lemmy in January reminds me how many iconic musicians, bands, and songs there were in the ‘60s 70s and 80s.

If dance and theatre are more your thing you’re in for a treat as the young company Ballet Cymru (Wales) bring their magical Romeo and Juliet to the stage. Contrast this with the raw power of New Room Theatre’s Blackout - a moving and sometimes uncomfortable play based on the testaments of recovering Scottish alcoholics which tours in May. Take a look at our Easter and Summer Holiday programme for families too – Hairy Maclary, The Puppet Animation Festival and the chance to tread the boards of FTH in our Play in a Week workshops and shows.

Courtney Pine and Zoe Rahman Song The Ballad Book Thursday 21 April • 7.30pm £19 We are delighted to welcome back Jazz legend Courtney Pine to FTH in a new concert which toured the UK in 2015 to critical acclaim.

Using puppetry, toy theatre and video and with an original score this is a lovely little tale told in English and Gaelic for children age 3- 5 years.

Once upon a time, a bored little girl called Jessie built The Little White Town of Never Weary using cardboard and glue, a wee bit of magic and a lot of imagination. A hustling, bustling hive of a place; full of friendly faces, always ready to play, to make and to do.

But that was 100 years ago, and The Little White Town hasn’t had a visit for a very long time.

Lonely and unloved, its magic is fading and the whole place is falling to bits! The vibrations from the old bell tower are making the buildings crumble and the townsfolk are in a terrible tizzy.

It’s all up to Jessie’s great-great-granddaughter now… Can you help Jessie Junior, Gilbert, Dame Lucky, Sweetie Meg & Boofoo the Talking Cat save the town before the next hour strikes?

Inspired by the story by Glasgow Girls artist Jessie M King, this musical performance encourages kids to think about the buildings that they know and love. Packed full of fun this fabulous show includes an interactive workshop where you can do your bit to help save The Little White Town!

In a castle high on top of a hill lives an inventor’s greatest creation - Edward, a nearcomplete person. The creator died before he could finish Edward’s hands; instead, he is left with metal scissors for hands.

Since then, he has lived alone, until a kind lady called Peg discovers him and welcomes him into her home. At first, everyone welcomes him into the community, but soon things begin to take a change for the worse…

FTH Gallery is a free space for local artists to exhibit and is generally open from 10am - 4pm Monday to Friday and before performances.

Our Box Office will now be at the Falkirk Stadium which you can reach via phone, other ticket purchasing options detailed below.

The Steeple is scheduled to close on 31st March 2016 for refurbishment as part of the Townscape Heritage Initiative to restore Falkirk’s historic buildings. Due to proposed improvement works the closure may take place prior to this date, please check our website for further information.
