Active Schools, Sports Development and Outdoor Activities bring you a packed holiday schedule; don’t delay, make sure you get on the phone quickly as our classes and activities will fill up fast!

How to Book To book any of the following activities please call the booking line on 01324 590940.

The lines will be open from 9am-7pm (Mon-Fri) from 10 June.

A booking can be made in person at the following address: Suite 1A (1st Floor), Falkirk Community Stadium, 4 Stadium Way, Falkirk, FK2 9EE Payment is due at the time of bookings. All bookings will be dealt with on a first come, first served basis up to the maximum number for each activity. Receipts for all bookings will be emailed within 48 hours – a paper copy will only be sent out on request.

Customer Statement: All coaches are disclosure checked.

Parents must be responsible for the safe arrival and collection of their children.

Please ensure your child brings any medication they need and inform the co-ordinator.

Photographs may be taken for promotional purposes–if you have any objections to this then please inform us during the booking process.

Cancellation policy: No refunds–credit notes only can be given for any cancellations.

If an activity is cancelled for any reason, where possible an alternative will be offered.

If there is no suitable alternative then a credit note will be given.

Credit notes will be redeemable against future holiday programmes and any Sports Development classes.

CAMP MULTISPORT

CAMP MULTISPORT is a Commonwealth Games 2014 themed week long programme of activities, designed to keep your kids active and having fun over the Summer holidays. Children will be split by age, and participate in a wide variety of sports and games delivered by our team of expert and qualified coaches.

Week 1

5-14 years

Camp multisport can be booked by the

single day £10 (10.15—14.30), Morning £5 (10.15 —12.30), Afternoon £5 (13.00—14.30), or the full week £40.

Children should bring suitable clothing, water, packed lunches (if staying the full day), and jackets.

Look out for Camp multisport in alternative venues weeks 3,4,5.

Age groups will use appropriate balls and court sizes in-line with mini tennis regulations. Fee includes LTA registration with Falkirk Community Tennis (normally £15) and entry into the 2015 Wimbledon Ticket Ballot, with results being recorded to your unique BTM. EXTRAVAGANZA AND POOL PARTY

Week 2

Come and participate in a fun packed day of sport and fun and games, finishing in an exciting pool party, to end the day with a BANG! You will experience a taster of a wide variety of sports and games and compete in teams for the sports day activities. What’s more…if you sign up for the Extravaganza you can attend the Pool Party – a marvellous celebration with music, flumes, inflatables and lots more fun activities in the pool*.

All participants must: • Wear suitable clothing and footwear to take part in sport • Bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink • Bring a towel and swim wear for the pool party (a spare T-shirt to wear over swim wear is optional) • Parents can watch the pool party in the spectator area from approximately 3pm

Under 8’s or non-swimmers All children under 8, or that are nonswimmers will be in a group with an adult and supervised during the pool party. They will not be permitted on the inflatable as this runs to the deep end of the main pool.

Please advise the registration team on the day if your child is a non-swimmer or not confident in the water. *Pool party is exclusively for those attending the Extravaganza – if participants wish to leave at 3pm please let the instructor know on arrival.

CAMP MULTISPORT

CAMP MULTISPORT is a Commonwealth Games 2014 themed week long programme of activities, designed to keep your kids active and having fun over the Summer holidays. Children will be split by age, and participate in a wide variety of sports and games delivered by our team of expert and qualified coaches.

5-14 years

Camp multisport can be booked by the

single day £10 (10.15—14.30), Morning £5 (10.15 —12.30), Afternoon £5 (13.00—14.30), or the full week £40.

CYCLING Bikeability Scotland

Bikeability Scotland Level 1 covers the basics of riding a bike, such as balance, control skills and making turn, it offers a range of fun activities designed for children of primary age and is delivered in a traffic free area. DANCE LEADERSHIP What is Sports Leaders UK Award in Dance Leadership?

The Level 1 Award in Dance Leadership provides the ideal starting point for learners who are aged 13 years and over and who wish to develop their dance leadership skills.

What is involved?

•T he aim of the qualification is to give the leaders a breadth of knowledge to be able to be an effective leader.

• The courses runs for five days arrangements for the practical teaching sessions will be agreed during the course.

• It’s an interesting and fun course with no entrance qualification required (dance experience is required).

•T he sessions include some theory as well as practical work • Having the Dance Leaders qualification will look fantastic on your CV; it is valuable whether you want dance specific experience or just more experience working with children.

CAMP MULTISPORT

CAMP MULTISPORT is a Commonwealth Games 2014 themed week long programme of activities, designed to keep your kids active and having fun over the Summer holidays. Children will be split by age, and participate in a wide variety of sports and games delivered by our team of expert and qualified coaches.

5-14 years

Camp multisport can be booked by the

single day £10 (10.15—14.30), Morning £5 (10.15 —12.30), Afternoon £5 (13.00—14.30), or the full week £40.

Children should bring suitable clothing, water, packed lunches (if staying the full day), and jackets.

CYCLING Bikeability Level 2

Bikeability Scotland Level 2 teaches children how to ride a bike safely on the road and navigate basic junctions. It is intended to be delivered to upper primary age pupils and will be delivered on -road in a risk assessed location, usually a quiet residential area. Children must be competent at riding their bike and wear a helmet. Bikeability Level 1 is a good stepping stone but not essential. Delivered in partnership with Recyke-a-bike, the participants will have there bikes "Dr Bike" at the start of the sessions.

Dance Leadership Level 2 Award What is Sports Leaders UK Award in Dance Leadership?

The Level 2 Award is a progression of skills and is for learners aged 16 years and over.

What is involved?

• The aim of the qualification is to give the leaders a breadth of knowledge to be able to be an effective leader • The course runs for five days, arrangements for the practical teaching sessions will be agreed during the course and the event delivery.

• It’s an interesting and fun course with no entrance qualification required (dance experience is required)

• The sessions include some theory as well as practical work • Having the Dance Leaders qualification will look fantastic on your CV; it is valuable whether you want dance specific experience or just more experience working with children.

• You do not have to do the Level 1 to enrol on the Level 2 course.

COMMONWEALTH EXTRAVAGANZA AND POOL PARTY

Come and be a part of your very own Commonwealth Games, it will be an action packed day of commonwealth sport, a day not to forget!

You will experience a taster of a wide variety of sports and games and compete in teams for the sports day activities. What’s more…if you sign up for the Extravaganza you can attend the Pool Party – a marvellous celebration with music, flumes, inflatables and lots more fun activities in the pool* This day is not to be missed! Sign up early to avoid disappointment.

All participants must: • Wear suitable clothing and footwear to take part in sport • Bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink • Bring a towel and swim wear for the pool party (a spare T-shirt to wear over swim wear is optional)

• Parents can watch the pool party in the spectator area from approximately 3pm Under 8’s or non-swimmers All children under eight, or that are non-swimmers will be in a group with an adult and supervised during the pool party. They will not be permitted on the inflatable as this runs to the deep end of the main pool.

Please advise the registration team on the day if your child is a non-swimmer or not confident in the water. *Pool party is exclusively for those attending the Extravaganza – if participants wish to leave at 3pm please let the instructor know on arrival
