EDITOR'S Note Alhamdulillah. We are humbled and pleased to share our very first E-Bulletin, X-NEWS. X-NEWS serves as an online communication platform to inform and update everyone of our teams' activities, development and general information. It aims to synchronize and strengthen the synergy and teamwork besides cultivating the work-life balance culture among us.

X-NEWS encompasses current projects, achievements, innovation, progress, and even go-to-market strategies. We will also include announcements of team members' milestones like weddings, awards, etc.

YAYASAN WIBA PRIMA (YWP) X MODKHA GROUP Alhamdulillah. Yayasan Wiba Prima (YWP) in collaboration with Modkha Group and Neo-Siswa Universiti Malaya organised its annual Kempen Ihya' Ramadan 1442H.

Do consider this first issue of X-NEWS as a pilot run. We plan to circulate X-NEWS once a month and we look forward to your input and contribution!

For this year, the campaign was done in series and phases at mosques, schools and community centres throughout Klang Valley, including Masjid Raja Haji Fisabilillah, Cyberjaya.

"Living Office – The New Landscape of Work" on Tuesday, 15th June 2021 from 4 to 5 pm.

Malaya helped make the campaign a success.

Masjid Raja Haji Fisabilillah and SK Cyberjaya were chosen as most members of the parties involved are part of the Cyberjaya community. We aim to address the social imbalances of where we live and operate; at the same time to be closer to the community we call ‘home’.

Through the campaign, the parties involved hope that the contributions could ease the burden of the recipients, especially in the blessed month of Ramadan.

It is a very meaningful campaign and another fruitful collaboration that have long been developed. May this be a continued effort to help those less fortunate beyond Ramadan.

A HALL FOR ALL MODKHA MARINE SDN. BHD. & MAJU TANAH LIAT SDN. BHD. DONATE On 29th April 2021, Masjid Nurul Hidayah, Sungai Bemban, Trong hosted an iftar event for the underprivileged families/ASNAF of the municipality.

Modkha Marine Sdn. Bhd. and Maju Tanah Liat Sdn. Bhd. were invited to co-host and contribute. The event was graced by YB Senator Ustaz Hj Idris Bin Hj Ahmad, Vice President of PAS Malaysia. He was accompanied by Modkha Group Executive Director, Faiz Mokhtar and Maju Tanah Liat Director, Dato' Abdullah Hj Hassan.

In the spirit of Ramadan, Modkha Marine Sdn. Bhd. made a contribution of RM 100,000 to help build a community hall for the locals, near to the mosque. Apart from this donation, 250 underprivileged families received a bag of grocery items as well as monetary assistance from both companies.

Aside from giving some Ramadan joy for the less fortunate, it is hoped that there will be more opportunities for Modkha Marine Sdn. Bhd. and Maju Tanah Liat Sdn. Bhd. to work together and contribute to the local people, besides providing job opportunities operating our ballclay and sand mining sites there. Medicara Sdn. Bhd. was recently awarded a contract of RM28 million to supply medical gloves to Ministry of Health Malaysia. The supply of Betelcare disposable non-sterile powdered gloves throughout Malaysia, including Sabah and Sarawak, is expected to be continued for a quarter of the year. This is another significant effort of our Group to aid our nation in fighting Covid-19.
