SWOT ANALYSIS Strength: The site, because of its strategic geographical location (i.e in the middle of Mumbai), is easily accessible. Beneficial for logistics as well, since it is well connected by roads and public transport, which includes a main bus depot just across the road and several train stations within walking distance. Weakness: The east and west side of the site is surrounded with slums. and in the in the north side the polluted mithi river which distract the current visitors Opportunities: This site can prove to be the best way to promote bamboo and it will be easily promoted throughout country since located in the middle of the Mumbai and it is the financial capital of India, because it is an economically advanced area in the overall country. Threat: 13 acres on the eastern side are currently unused and have become grounds for open defecation and soft encroachments. The nursery on the western edge has similar issues of encroachment, the future encroachment can be avoid by executing well design.
