AREA: 2000 sqauremeters
DESCRIPTION
The project is a competition put forward by the Municipality of the Asir region, and it was worked on by a group of three people. The design entrance began as an inspiration from the Asir development strategy and its three programs: economy, human, and land. This is an indication of emphasizing the connection of the surroundings to the project. Reliance was made during the design of the blocks on the identity of the region. By stripping the horizontal lines of the agricultural terraces and the vertical lines of the doors of the historical buildings, while preserving the inscriptions in a simplified manner, to enhance the preservation of the identity of the region, taking into account the heights, not obstructing the vision, and simplicity in formation and implementation.
Concept
The idea of the project started by choosing three blocks as figures directed at a landmark so that the framework (the model) would be the focus of attention of passers-by and vehicle drivers, and each block symbolizes a specific landmark and is linked to the Asir development strategy:

1 - Economy: It is expressed in the tourism axis through a block directed towards the most important tourist areas in the governorate, which is Harrat Al-Hala located north of the roundabout.
2 - The human being: Expressing it in the axis of a strong, interconnected community by directing a mass towards the vital gathering areas and public places west of the roundabout.
3 - Land: Expressing it in the axis of preserving nature by directing a mass towards the most important natural features, which are the mountains east of the roundabout.

DESCRIPTION
The project is a design competition for the roundabout of King Khalid University in Al-Fara’a, with the participation of a group of three people. The idea of the project was inspired by the local architectural element (Shadakhah), which in turn reflects the culture and history of the place, and combined it with one of the largest qualitative projects in the world, “NEOM”, which reflects the current development and progress For the Kingdom. The design idea reflects pride in the civilization and history of the Asir region by placing a rocky block that reflects the history and civilization of the region and a high glass block that reflects progress and development, in which our history is the basis for this development.
