In the Fairways, morning breaks without a sound, but something stirs along the ground. This year in July, beneath bright summer skies, a tribute to America’s 250th birthday begins to rise. In the Fairways, where the grasses grow, and gentle winds of July still blow, the flags align in proud array to greet the spirit of Independence Day. In the Fairways, as freedom’s colors fill the air and neighbors gather with purpose and care, the Stars and Stripes begin to fly, honoring 250 years beneath Freedom’s sky. The Fairways awakens, and people go with steady steps and purpose slow. Not bound by duty, yet they stand, with flags of freedom in their hand. With steady hands and thoughtful care, they place the flags like whispered prayer. One by one, the flags appear in soft soil, both far and near. Along the streets, across each yard, the signs of honor stand on guard. One flag, then two, and soon a sea, a silent act of unity. A field of honor, stitched in rows, where every breeze of memory blows. One by one, they’re raised anew, in silence in red, in white, and in blue. No fanfare greets them as they rise, just steady hands and watchful eyes. No trumpet sounds, no drums to beat, just silent rows on every street. No orders barked, no medals shown, just neighbors stepping out alone. No fancy words, no grand decree, just symbols of our memory. No spotlight shines, no crowds appear, yet pride and gratitude are here. As stars and stripes wave bright and free, they tell the story of our liberty. No need for speeches loud or grand, the message rests in every hand that plants a flag and pauses there in gratitude and silent prayer. No sirens call, no bands parade, no loud commands are ever made. Instead, we gather, small and still, to honor freedom’s enduring will. No monuments of stone are here yet symbols proud and true appear. In cloth and color, placed by hand, the Fairways celebrates our land. No pageantry, no clashing sound, just quiet steps on common ground. For two hundred fifty years held true, and the flags still wave in red, white, and blue. And in this place where neighbors stay, the flags arise for Independence Day. The flags do not speak, but still they say: cherish the freedoms won that day. For in this work, so small, so still, they speak what words can never fill. They tell the story, proud and true, of generations who carried freedom through. From the thirteen colonies by the sea rose a nation pledged to liberty. For two hundred fifty years, our flags have flown since freedom’s seeds were first sown. From Lexington’s fields to distant shores, through trials faced and freedom’s wars, they mark the path our nation trod across two hundred fifty years with God. And now, as the flags stand quiet in the evening light, they hold the weight of day and night. The Fairway’s patriotic spirit, clear and true, is alive in the red, and white, and blue.
