Refugee Week is an annual celebration that acknowledges and celebrates refugees and their contributions. The theme for Refugee Week 2025 is Finding Freedom: Diversity in Community. The following events are happening in Fairfield City!

A MEAL AND A STORY
Multicultural Affairs Centre
A celebration of food and culture, featuring stories from refugees and cultural music.
Meet and greet newly arrived refugees and migrants and learn about their cultural cuisine and experiences.

REFUGEE WEEK FESTIVAL
Fairfield Emerging Communities Action Partnership
A festival to celebrate refugees through exciting cultural performances, inspiring stories from refugees and cultural stalls showcasing traditional artefacts, instruments and artworks.
