MASTERCHEF in FAIRFIELD Masterchef series one champion Julie Goodwin, was one of the many big names to visit Fairfield on April 5, as part of Maeve O’Meara’s Gourmet Safaris.

The Place Team’s marketing strategy to promote Fairfield as a ‘Rising food capital of Australia’, is paying off as Fairfield is now on everyone’s menu!

The star-studded line-up included the ‘who’s who of the culinary media’. Valli Little, Food editor of ABC’s ‘Delicious’ magazine and Mary Norton from the prestigious PR company ‘Spice & Soul’. “I needed to introduce my colleagues to the fantastic fare of Fairfield and the verdict is in, they love Fairfield!” Declared Maeve O’Meara. The SBS food personality is a regular visitor to our City with her renowned ‘Gourmet Safaris’. “Fairfield is a culinary hotspot, so many cuisines from all around the world and all of these great eateries are a leisurely walk from one another”, explains Maeve. Recently, Maeve led a corporate tour of Fairfield with a group from Sanitarium; the giant Australian food company which has a focus on ‘health and well being’.
