Healthcare Centre

Tokai Estate has a fully equipped Healthcare Centre. This is a primary health facility offering additional services to residents in need of assisted living, rehabilitative, palliative, and respite care.

Admission to the facility requires completion of a pre-admission process, including a medical report, whereafter admission will be granted at a set tariff. The tariff will be adjusted for the level of care required as determined by our clinical head and support professionals.

Prices range from:

• Monthly Rate: R40 000.00 (dependent on room size and features)

• Daily Rate:

Frail Care: R1 770.00 per day (should the Frail Care become long term, please expect reduced rate)

Sub-Acute: Starting from R2 300.00 per day

* Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Tariffs include all meals, accommodation, domestic services and 24 hour nursing care. All medical supplies, including medical consumables are charged to resident’s account. The Healthcare Centre is registered as a private Health establishment with a licence to operate as a sub-acute centre and may enable the resident to apply for compensation from his / her medical aid scheme depending on their scheme’s rules.
