IMPORTANT INFORMATION IN CASE OF EMERGENCY

Single press with handset on-hook to call the Health Care Facility

If you have an emergency and you need to call the Healthcare Facility, press the H/CARE soft key that appears when your phone is idle.

You can also dial the 24 Hour Emergency Healthcare number: 5333

If you are not able to dial the Healthcare manually, the ‘knock-off’ safety feature can be activated by taking the handset off the receiver and you taking no further action. A dial tone will play and after 9 seconds it will play the system confirmation announcement and call the Healthcare Duty Station.

If you are able to, we suggest pressing the Speakerphone key which allows the phone to initiate hands-free mode and the staff at the Healthcare Facility will be able to listen to you and talk back if you are unable to stay near the phone.

PLACING A CALL

Using the handset

1. Enter the desired contact number, then pick up the handset.

* You can reject an incoming call by pressing the Reject softkey.

ENDING A CALL

Using the handset

Hang up the handset or press the EndCall softkey.

Using the speakerphone

Press or the EndCall softkey.

CALL MUTE

Press to mute the microphone during a call.

Press again to un-mute the call.

VOICE MESSAGE

Message waiting indicator on the idle screen indicates that one or more voice messages are waiting at the message center. The power indicator LED slowly flashes red.

To listen to voice messages

1. Press

2. Follow the voice prompts to listen to your voice messages.

VOLUME ADJUSTMENT

Press to adjust the volume.
