There are THREE backup power options that we are offering the faircape villages, each option is detailed below.

INTEGRATED · Wired into existing home electrical reticulation · Sockets / Light will automatically switch over when main power fails
MECER 1.4 kW BBONE INSTALLATION (Most affordable option able to power TV, DSTV box, 5 Led lights, wifi router for 2.5 hours) Recharge time 50% - 100% : 12 hours The Bbone is a complete inverter and battery unit, the inverter and batteries are installed inside the unit. A new emergency DB will be installed, complete with circuit breakers and an isolator. The circuits are then transferred to the inverter supply.
MECER AXPERT 3kW INVERTER INSTALLATION
KODAK 5kW INVERTER INSTALLATION
(This option able to power TV, DSTV box, 5 Led lights, wifi router for 5 hours) Recharge time 10% - 100% : 3 hours The Mecer inverter option will be mounted on the wall, a bracket will be installed to house the batteries. A new emergency DB will be installed, complete with circuit breakers and a change over switch. Selected plug and light circuits are then transferred to the inverter supply. (except the kitchen).

A new emergency DB will be installed, complete with circuit breakers and a change over switch. All plug and light circuits are then transferred to the inverter supply. (except the kitchen) The advantage of the kodak inverter is the ability to power more appliances. Aswell has a larger battery capacity.
