With over 35 years of experience, our team has provided power management, backup power and metering solutions to our customers in Cape Town and the surrounding areas. We are an Eskom-registered electricity vendor, providing prepaid tokens to over 2000 customers. Inpower provides a full turnkey back-up power solution that suits the customer's needs and we provide financing options to accommodate any budget. We supply a range of generators to suit your power needs, from 25 KVA to 400 KVA. We presently provide about 5000 KVA (5 MVA) of emergency power to our clients. Inpower is able to provide your business with back-up power solutions.

Diesel Generators
There is a growing need for generators in South Africa. We supply, install, maintain and service your generator. Generators ranging from 25 KVA to 400 KVA – provides almost 5000 KVA (5 MVA) generator power to our clients.

It is becoming essential to have an uninterrupted power supply. This can be in the form of an UPS unit or Inverter with batteries. Depending on the customer’s needs, we can custom build any system.

Grid-Tied Solution
A cost effective solution when it comes to solar power, however it provides no protection against power outages (when Eskom goes down, the solar power goes down as well). You consume the power you generate during the day when the panels provide electricity but when this is depleted your solar power pulls energy from the City's power grid. You save on your energy cost but you are not completely off the grid.

Grid Back-up
Our grid back up system alows a solar power system to connect or combines it with either a battery system or a battery system that is connected to invertor or it can be connected to a diesel generator. This system gives you the freedom of being off grid. If frequent load shedding continues each winter then there will be continued demand for grid-backup systems that can operate with no grid for prolonged periods of time. The combined PV and battery inverter, commonly referred to as a hybrid inverter. This is a multi-function device that includes all the functions required to configure a grid-back-up solutions. The most cost effective solution will be to connect the solar PV to a diesel generator as a back up power solution.

FINANCE We offer a variety of finance options to help you meet your energy needs:
Finance for Back-up Solutions We offer finance options on our diesel generator and inverter systems. We will be able to offer up to 60 months financing depending on the scope of the project. This applies to new property developments, home owner associations and commercial and industrial businesses in Cape Town. Finance for Solar Power We can offer financing solutions with favourable and reasonable loan periods for our customers. We are able to offer turnkey solutions as well as Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). A PPA is whereby a customer agrees to buy solar powered electricity from us for a long term duration at a predetermined rate.
Finance for Electricity Meters We can offer up to 60 months financing on prepaid and smart electricity meters. We can supply and install these meters at your new development, body corporate or home owners association. Finance for Power Management Solutions We offer a finance solution on turnkey power management projects for our customers. This will include the site assessment, energy audit, supply and installation of smart electricity meters, the monitoring and management of these meters and the recommendations and solutions to reduce the electricity consumption.
