Faircape Health is part of the Faircape Group with 6 facilities located in Hermanus, Somerset West, Kirstenhof, Noordhoek and Tokai. Our facilities have a selection of room options to suit your needs. From single, double, shared, assisted living rooms and wards.

Faircape Health ensures that patients receive comprehensive, timely, and personalised medical care, crucial for effective recovery and rehabilitation. Having a team of onsite doctors in a sub-acute and frail care setting offers several significant benefits to patients, including; immediate medical care, continous monitoring, collaborative care and enhanced rehabilitation outcomes.
Led by Dr. Nicci Snyders, our team of doctors includes both medical generalists (General Practitioners) and specialists (Family Physicians).

Dr. Nicci Snyders
Specialist Family Physician
Dr. Nicci Snyders is a specialist Family Physician passionate about holistic rehabilitation.
She holds CMSA diplomas in emergency medicine, anaesthesia, and paediatrics. She is currently pursuing her fellowship in rehabilitation medicine with the International Rehabilitation Forum.
Dr. Nic Van der Westhuizen
Specialist Family Physician
Dr. Nic van der Westhuizen is a Family Physician with a special interest in environmental health. His special interests and expertise include primary care and preventative medicine. He believes in providing high-quality, evidence-based care and fostering an environment in which patients and colleagues can thrive.
Dr. Johann Maartens General Practitioner
Dr. Johann Maartens is passionate about quality medical care, academics, and research. A General Practitioner with a strong research background, and a Master’s Degree in Medical Physiology and a Diploma in Emergency Medicine, his medical experience includes rural and emergency medicine as well as primary care.

Dr. Marlouise Steenkamp, is a General Practitioner who avidly advocates for preventative medicine. She continually advances her clinical expertise ensuring her patients receive high-quality, all-encompassing care. Holding a Certificate in Basic and Acute Cardiac Life Support, she enjoys seeing her patients progress and succeed through rehabilitation.
Dr. Leila Amien
General Practitioner
Dr. Leila Amien is passionate about medicine and providing her patients with the best treatment and care. A General Practitioner, she has a special interest in restorative treatment following surgery. She believes that working as part of an interdisciplinary team enhances the team’s knowledge and skills and assists in providing a high level of care to all patients.
Dr. Aneeka Domingo General Practitioner
Dr. Aneeka Domingo is a General Practitioner with special interests in the fields of neurology, mental health and palliative care. She holds up-to-date Certifications in Advanced Life Support Resuscitation (RCSA) and is an associate member of Palprac SA (The Association of Palliative Care Practitioners of South Africa). She is dedicated to providing her patients with compassionate and individualised care.

Dr. Michelle Bowers is a General Practitioner managing patients and residents at Heritage Manor and Bridgewater Manor healthcare facilities. With a strong background in family medicine, emergency medicine and psychiatric medicine, she is passionate about providing holistic care. She enjoys working as part of an MDT, assisting patient’s along their journey.

Dr. Nicole Jacka is a dedicated General Practitioner with a passion for internal medicine. Obtaining her degree at the University of Cape Town (Cum Laude), Dr. Jacka’s compassionate approach and dedication to excellence align perfectly with our mission to provide the highest quality of care to our residents. She oversees the care of patients and residents at Clé du Cap and Noordhoek Manor healthcare facilities.
