Sylvain Demers as Tevye, a milkman

Sylvain has appeared in numerous FLOT productions in the last 15 years. Was it John Adams in “1776,” Prof. Harold Hill in “The Music Man,” Sweeney Todd in “Sweeney Todd” or Jean Valjean in “Les Miserables?” What I have done matters little. What I am here to do for you now is a blessing for me to give. Enjoy! L'Chaim!

Lorri Heneveld as Golde, his wife

This is my 5th FLOT production. I'm delighted to be playing such an iconic role in this wonderful story. I'd like to thank my family for their continued love and support. It has been a pleasure working with this talented cast and crew!

Charlotte Gray as Tzeitel, their oldest daughter

Aside from her role as Izzy in UAF Theater Department’s “Seminar,” she is brand new to the Fairbanks theater scene. Her previous credits include Shakespeare’s “The Winter’s Tale,” “The Imaginary Invalid,” “Shrek!” "American Idiot," "ENRON," and others. She’d like to extend special gratitude to Bremner, Mishka, & Thule for their unwavering support and affection.

Kori Glenn as Hodel, their second daughter

Kori is a recent transplant to Fairbanks from Des Moines, Iowa. She most recently played Regina in Interior Independent Theater’s Rock of Ages. Being in Fiddler is a childhood dream for Kori. Olivia Cole as Chava, their third daughter

Growing up watching “Fiddler on the Roof,” I always fantasized about playing Chava and I am so honored and over the moon to finally get to! I’ve been in a few other shows, including “The Sound of Music” and “The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.” I’m also a part of the Lathrop Ballroom Dance Team and will be attending North Star College in the Fall.

Anabelle Boschert

as Shprintze, their fourth daughter

Hello, I’m Anabelle and I play the role of Shprintze in “Fiddler on the Roof.” I'm in the North Pole Middle school choir and I got introduced to “Fiddler on the Roof” in early Febuary, with the help of Mrs. Nore. I love playing Shprintze, sad I barely have any lines but it’s a thrill to get a behind the scenes on what’s going on in the play production.

Grace Posey as Bielke, their fiftth daugher

I have taken voice lessons from Miss Amy Ingram for four years, and I have been taking piano lessons for five years from my mom. I sing for church and charities every month. I have performed in two Missoula Children Theatre productions: “Pied Piper” and “Johnny Appleseed.” Last year I tied for third place in the National Association of Teachers Singing (NATS) competition.

Dave Dershin as Lazar Wolf, the butcher

Dave began his singing and acting career many years ago doing children’s theater in Chicago. He was previously cast to be in “Fiddler� in 1979, but he broke his ankle and had to drop out. He rejuvenated his love of theater when his children were younger. With them he was in FLOT’s “Wizard of OZ� & “Willy Wonka.� Most recently he was in Lathrop’s “Newsies� with his son in 2019.

Margaret Salisbury as Yente, the matchmaker

Margaret graduated with a BA degree in Theatre in the 20th Century. Most recently (2019) she performed in FDA’s Nunsense - as The Reverend Mother Mary Regina. Many thanks to all of the individuals behind the scenes who have supported this production. You have enthusiastically lent your support unseen but certainly irreplaceable to our success!

John Lee as Motel, the tailor

John is thrilled for his debut performance with FLOT and, in many ways, the stage in general. His last on stage performance was in 6th grade, the 2001 University Park Elementary School production of the musical “Rock On.” Otherwise, John's much smaller stage is the 6th grade classroom at Ben Eielson Jr. High where he teaches social studies, English, and French.
