OHLALA’s Papaya Hair Mask

What you’ll need:

½ cup ripe papaya

¼ cup coconut milk

1 tsp honey

How to make and apply it:

1. Put the ripe papaya, coconut milk and honey in a blender. Blend these ingredients well and make a smooth paste.

2. Wash your hair with shampoo and remove excess water, leaving it damp.

3. Apply the mask all over your hair, even the roots. Put a shower cap on to trap the warmth released from your head. The heat helps open the cuticles, allowing the nutrients to absorb into the hair more efficiently. Leave the mask on for 30 minutes.

4. Rinse your hair well with water only. It is not necessary to apply a hair conditioner afterwards. Style your hair as you wish.

5. You can use this papaya hair mask once or twice a week.

PS: The mask should be used fresh rather than stored in the fridge.
