Editor’s Letter

With the cooler weather comes the wedding season. November is when the wedding bells, and 'here comes the bride' chanting happens with more frequency. The bridal period usually goes until May, when the weather starts to heat up. Inspired by the theme, we spoke to a wedding florist to get a glimpse of natural decoration (pg70). With fewer Covid-19 restrictions, the celebrations are getting bigger and back to hotel ballrooms (pg72). Our Style Focus pages are dedicated to traditional white dresses, pearly nontraditional options, and essential accessories (pg18). Still in the fashion mode, Qatar Museums is bringing an exciting exhibition to Doha this month; the historical creations will stay in town until March 2022 (pg36). Our love for jewellery is expressed in a stunning spread from an iconic brand and its latest collection (pg38).

Beauty enthusiasts will fall in love with our selection of gorgeous new make-up and irresistible scents (pg52). And for our spa treatment, we bring a Hammam session, a must-experience therapy in this part of the world (pg64).
