And here we go again, another year to have high hopes for, to believe that our lives (and ourselves) are going to change for the better. A recent YouGov survey in the United States found that the most common New Year’s resolution for 2026 (among 25 options included in the study) is to exercise more. Well, here we are, it’s January 2026, time to put this plan into motion. If that’s also your goal for this year, we bring 50 ideas to help you add more movement to your life, with tips, trending workouts and wellness-focussed insights, such as spa treatments to try, destinations that offer wellbeing packages and books on the theme. I love running and intend to add a lot of kilometres to my new running shoes (a Christmas gift to myself), but treatments and books sound like good add-ons in this wellness journey.

Winter fashion and colours of the year come to kick-start our 2026 wardrobe. Still on the fashion mood, we spoke with three local fashion brands that participated in M7’s The Global Edit programme: Gigeez, Tagreed Omer Couture and TASH AND LEY. And the jewellery and watches universe is as shiny as always, with an exclusive interview with Roberto Coin.

In the beauty section, healthy clothing using techno-fabrics is a fascinating read. So is our review on the head-to-toe session we had at eforea spa, Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas.

We are all for women's power. This month, we had the pleasure of interviewing the six winners of the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Middle East Regional Young Talents Program. The initiative recognises the groundbreaking work of Arab women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), and we are proud to help spread the word.

Almost 20 years after their first collaboration in 2005, Stella McCartney and H&M are reuniting for a Spring 2026 collection that pairs signature design codes with a strong sustainability focus.

The collection draws on Stella’s archives, reinterpreting iconic silhouettes and house hallmarks using certified, responsible materials, many of which are recycled. FASHION Meets BUSINESS With a mission to support fashion talent on the international stage, M7’s The Global Edit programme features three standout designers, and OHLALA spoke to them to uncover what happens behind the scenes.

M

7, the fashion, design and technology hub operating under Qatar Museums and led by Chairperson, Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, has introduced The Global Edit – a programme focused on supporting designers as they expand beyond their home markets and position themselves internationally.

Conceived as a flexible, designer-first initiative, it responds to the practical and creative challenges of building a fashion brand today. The programme offers tailored mentorship, strategic direction and access to key fashion platforms, with support shaped around each designer’s identity, ambitions and target markets rather than a fixed curriculum.

For its first edition, The Global Edit highlights three brands selected for their craftsmanship, unique creations and passion: Gigeez, Tagreed Omer Couture and TASH AND LEY. As part of the programme, their latest collections were presented in a pop-up at the Studio 7 concept store in the M7 building.

OHLALA spoke with each of the designers about their creative journeys, the ideas driving their work and how M7’s support is influencing their brand development.

Gigeez Launched in 2022, Gigeez is a fashion label rooted in sustainability, inclusivity and multiculturalism. Handmade in Qatar, the brand is known for its upcycled garments crafted from dead stock fabrics, particularly Indian sarees, reimagined into contemporary silhouettes.

Drawing inspiration from the Arab kaftan, Indian saree and Japanese obi, it creates versatile pieces designed for movement and individuality.

Minimal-waste practices, zero-waste packaging and inclusive sizing underpin the brand’s ethos, positioning Gigeez as both a design-driven and values-led label.

OHLALA – What inspires you when reworking dead stock sarees into new designs, and why did you specifically choose sarees?

Gigeez – Our brand’s most resonant value is sustainability; we found that using dead stock materials helps create a story and gives life to the dresses. The Indian sarees we have collected over the years were gorgeous on their own. However, we wanted a versatile way of wearing a contemporary kaftan while still preserving traditional Indian textiles and elements.

OHLALA – The new Grace design is inspired by one of Grace Jones’ iconic fashion moments (when Azzedine Alaïa dressed her for the Oscars in 1985). What aspects of the style did you want to channel into this piece?

Gigeez – The famous Alaïa pink dress has a hoodie in the back.

With this visual idea, we wanted to create a dress that can be worn with or without a headscarf, given its versatility. This piece is so adaptable that we wished for the person wearing it to feel as free as possible to manipulate the scarf, length, belt and size as they preferred. The dress has to channel what the person wants to tell or to feel.

OHLALA – With versatility playing a major role in your designs, what do you hope wearers will discover about themselves when styling your pieces in their own way?

Gigeez – The main idea behind Gigeez is uniqueness and individuality with each textile and pattern. With this, we hope wearers will understand how easily the dress can be worn, as simple as they come, with jeans for a casual look, or even under a suit to elevate an ordinary outfit. Each dress offers multiple ways of wearing, allowing freedom of expression without overbuying clothes designed for a single use.

OHLALA – What impact does being featured at M7 have on the way you communicate your brand’s story and creative identity?

Gigeez – Working with M7 has helped us tremendously, putting us on the regional map and giving us access to great mentorships. It has opened doors to greater opportunities and connections, giving us the confidence to push our passions and ideas into reality while exposing us to the wider fashion industry in Qatar.

Tagreed Omer Couture Tagreed Omer Couture is a luxury fashion house merging fine craftsmanship with sustainability and innovation.

Known for its zero-waste couture approach and AIassisted design process, the brand creates pieces that balance cultural heritage with contemporary elegance.

Founded by Tagreed Omer, whose background spans luxury couture, the label draws inspiration from multiple cultures while maintaining a strong commitment to sustainable practice. With stockists including Printemps and 51 East, the brand continues to shape conversations around responsible high-end fashion.

OHLALA – Your hand-painted Damask flower has become a signature. What does this motif mean to you personally and how has it evolved across your work?

Tagreed Omer – I love the Damask flower because it gives me a feeling of hope and joy. It connects many cultures – from Damascus to Morocco and Taif – and it’s also part of our everyday life through perfumes, oils, food and beauty. I feel it reflects who I am and its colours make me happy. Over time, it has become a symbol in my work, especially given its rich history in traditional patterns and ancient walls.

OHLALA – What inspired you to tell the story of a Sudanese-Moroccan bride in the Zeena collection showcased at the M7 pop-up?

Tagreed – I am Sudanese but have roots in Morocco, so the connection between both cultures feels natural and beautiful. The collection started when I visited the Atlas section at the Museum of Islamic Art. The colours, jewellery and craftsmanship inspired me and I wanted to merge both worlds in Zeena. The Moroccan melhfa and the Sudanese toob share the same elegance, movement and femininity, which made the story feel complete.

OHLALA – How do you choose colours when each one carries a symbolic meaning?

Tagreed – For me, colours are emotions before they are choices. I pick colours that express the feeling of the story – joy, strength, nostalgia or celebration. I let the story guide the palette, so each colour speaks for itself.

OHLALA – What impact does being featured at M7 have on how you communicate your brand’s story and creative identity?

Tagreed – Being featured at M7 gave me strong support and a bigger platform to express my identity with more clarity and confidence. It pushed me to refine my storytelling and focus on the beauty, craftsmanship and culture that shape Tagreed Omer Couture. Without M7’s support, I wouldn’t have been able to bring many of my ideas to life.

TASH AND LEY Founded by Tasha Saradar and Lea Al Chaa, TASH AND LEY sits at the intersection of art and fashion, creating silk scarves conceived as wearable artworks. Symbolised by the hummingbird (a marker of freedom, movement and curiosity), the brand places individuality at its core.

The scarf acts as a central canvas, produced in limited quantities using high-quality silk to ensure each piece feels personal and expressive.

Sustainability is embedded into the brand’s practice, with damaged scarves and excess fabric reworked into mini talē (twilly) scarves, silk scrunchies and bag charms, ensuring minimal waste.

Natural fabrics, recycled packaging and digital printing techniques that reduce water and chemical use further reinforce the brand’s eco-conscious ethos, positioning TASH AND LEY as a label where creativity and responsibility coexist.

OHLALA – How did the two of you first meet and realise you wanted to create a brand together?

Tasha Saradar – We met when Ley moved to Lebanon for university and connected instantly. Our friendship grew so naturally that we quickly became close friends who shared the same values and interests, and I always admired her talent as an artist. Honestly, we never imagined we’d end up working together or building a brand. She was focussed on her graphic design career and I was studying finance. Looking back, our strengths naturally balanced each other and that’s still at the core of how we operate today. After my post-graduation, I had the idea of creating a brand centred around art and turning it into something wearable. Ley was the only person I could imagine doing this with, and the timing aligned perfectly because she had just quit her job. We both decided to commit full-time to bringing this idea to life. Everything flowed effortlessly from that point. What started as two friends with zero plans of working together suddenly became a full-time journey we both naturally stepped into.

OHLALA – Your scarves balance a unique marriage of art and fashion.

How do you decide which artistic influences or themes translate best into wearable pieces?

Lea Al Chaa – The approach is very intuitive. Art that carries emotion and personality naturally becomes a compelling fashion piece. I’ve always believed that art doesn’t need heavy justification to belong on fabric: beautiful, expressive artwork will always elevate a garment. Each design is treated as a work of art in its own right. It begins with its own story and world, rather than following trends or formulas. If a theme or illustration feels meaningful, it becomes a strong candidate for a wearable piece.

OHLALA – How did working with different Lebanese artists shape the Untitled collection showcased at the M7 pop-up?

Tasha and Lea – The Untitled collection was created with the intention of opening the brand to collaborations and building a creative community. We want to give artists a space where their work can be translated into fashion and seen in a new context. Starting with Lebanese artists felt meaningful, not only because of shared roots, but because Lebanon has incredible talent that deserves more visibility. Each artist brought a unique perspective and we were genuinely honoured to have their trust throughout the process.

We didn’t impose a theme or ask anyone to fit in a specific direction. Each artwork stands on its own, carrying the artist’s identity, style and story.

OHLALA – What impact does being featured at M7 have on the way you communicate your brand’s story and creative identity?

Tasha and Lea – Being part of M7 has been transformative for our evolution. It gave us the chance to step back, re-evaluate and refine how the brand presents itself, both visually and strategically. M7 pushed us to become more intentional with our communication and more aligned with our long-term vision. It opened doors, expanded our network and encouraged us to think bigger about where TASH AND LEY can go next.

he arrow was featured in Boucheron’s earliest designs in 1860, and it ranks among the maison’s most emblematic motifs. Its symbolism varies, ranging from a messenger of love, piercing hearts or evoking a mighty warrior. Today’s Flèche collection encapsulates the vital energy of those who live life fearlessly, celebrating their individuality.

Its aesthetics have changed over the years: on some, the feathers mimic the peacock’s colourful patterns, while others appear to have caught on foliage along the way. It has also drawn on various artistic movements, such as modern Orientalism, with arrows adorned with Egyptian motifs and in 1920, it became more stylised, embracing the codes of Art Deco and incorporating materials like jade. No matter the design language, one thing remained constant: the technical virtuosity of Boucheron’s artisans.

Marrying inventiveness with the finest jewellery savoir-faire, the maison continues to reinvent this timeless symbol. The new creations are inspired by the item’s balance of power and finesse. The arrow remains steadfast in its aim and now accommodates itself to the wearer: it can coil around a finger or a wrist, glide smoothly around a neck or be worn over the heart as a brooch. This collection comprises eight genderless, monochrome diamond pieces with a resolutely contemporary feel.

In a nod to Boucheron’s historic archives, the arrow appears in its purest form as a brooch: one very dainty, the other an XXL design that juxtaposes round and baguette-cut diamonds. riginally introduced in 2023, the Overseas 35mm was designed to offer a more streamlined take on Vacheron Constantin’s sport-chic collection, while retaining the aesthetic elements and functionality of its larger counterparts. The Overseas SelfWinding High Jewellery marks the first time this 35mm format has been fully gem-set, presented in two new references crafted in 18-carat white gold and 18-carat 5N pink gold.

Conceived to suit a wide range of wrists, the 35mm case measures 8.43mm in thickness and retains the collection’s emphasis on comfort and versatility. While compact in size, the watch preserves the technical and aesthetic elements found in larger Overseas models, including water resistance tested to five bar (50 metres) and a transparent sapphire crystal caseback. The crown is screwed down, reinforcing everyday practicality despite the high jewellery execution.

Gem-setting is the highlight of these new editions. Each piece is adorned with a total of 1,430 diamonds, amounting to approximately 12.58 carats.

Vacheron Constantin draws on a long-standing tradition in the métier d’art of gem-setting, a craft the maison has pursued since the 19th century.

The bezel’s Maltese cross motif (a signature inspired by the brand’s emblem) is emphasised through 60 invisibly set baguette-cut diamonds.

This demanding technique requires the creation of an ultra-fine gold framework, hidden beneath the stones, with tolerances measured to hundredths of a millimetre to ensure a seamless surface.

In contrast to the serene geometry of the baguette-cut diamonds, the dial and bracelet feature snow-set, brilliant-cut diamonds. The dial alone is set with 314 brilliant-cut diamonds, arranged to minimise visible metal and maximise light reflection. Against this diamond-set backdrop, time is displayed with restraint: hours, minutes, central seconds and a date aperture.

Twelve baguette-cut diamonds serve as hour markers, while the 18-carat gold hands are highlighted with blue Super-LumiNova for legibility.

The snow-setting continues across the lugs and the 18-carat gold bracelet, which is set with 884 brilliant-cut diamonds. Each bracelet link is set individually before assembly, reflecting the level of precision involved. As with all Overseas models, the bracelet is equipped with a self-interchangeable system and an easy-fit micro-adjustment, allowing for subtle sizing changes without tools. Each model is delivered with two additional straps: one in white rubber, the other in shiny alligator leather. The white gold version is paired with a brilliant blue alligator strap, while the pink gold model comes with a fuchsia alligator version. The interchangeable pin buckle, matching the case metal, is set with 62 brilliant-cut diamonds and can be swapped between straps without tools.

Powering the timepiece is the Manufacture calibre 1088/1, an automatic movement comprising 144 components that offers a 40-hour power reserve and includes a stop-seconds function for precise time setting. Visible through the caseback, the movement is finished with Côtes de Genève, bevelled bridges and a 22-carat gold rotor completed with a compass rose.

ichel Parmigiani founded Parmigiani Fleurier and every year the brand celebrates his legacy not with words but with creations. To honour his 75th birthday, the maison unveiled La Ravenale, a singular Objet d’Art where restoration, artistic craft and mechanical purity meet.

La Ravenale is a pocket watch conceived as a dialogue between nature’s geometry and the highest expressions of horological finesse. At its core lies a restored minute repeater calibre from the 1920s, a mechanical voice reborn through the maison’s mastery of restoration. The name derives from the Ravenala Madagascariensis tree, also known as Madagascar’s Traveller’s Palm, whose perfect fan symmetry follows the laws of the Golden Ratio.

To Michel Parmigiani, natural forms reveal an underlying order. This concept is featured in the engraving that animates the case, dial and bridges, as well as the opal-and-jade marquetry adorning the caseback. This composition balances reflection and stillness, sky and earth.

The calibre within La Ravenale is an ultra-thin minute repeater, with central hours and minutes and a small seconds at six o’clock. Restored entirely by the maison’s Atelier de Restauration, it now sings again with crystalline resonance – its chime clear, balanced and musical. On demand, the watch strikes the hours, quarters and minutes with two distinct tones: a low note for the hours, a high note for the minutes and a blend of both for the quarters.

Two precisely tuned gongs give the timepiece its acoustic identity, carefully refined to regain the clarity and balance of its original voice.

The bridges on the visible side have been engraved by hand with the palm motif, echoing the theme of the piece and linking mechanical construction to organic geometry. Two additional bridges, hidden beneath the dial, are engraved in the same spirit – a gesture invisible to the eye, yet essential to the integrity of the work.

The chain of La Ravenale is not a simple accessory – it is the expression of a discipline that stands on the edge of extinction, brought to life by the hands of Laurent Jolliet, a master chain-maker from Switzerland. It is forged entirely in 18-carat white gold, weighing 36.5g and measuring 31.5cm. From raw metal wire to the final articulated links, every stage is executed by hand – drawn, shaped, bent, soldered and polished with tools that have changed little in a century.

OHLALA – You began your career in

hospitality. What made you leave that universe for jewellery, and how does that culture of service, detail and well-crafted surprise influence the way you design today?

Roberto Coin – The hotel business taught me everything about people: how to speak to them, how to be kind, how to stay humble, no matter who is standing in front of you. That education became invaluable in everything I’ve done ever since. I met extraordinary guests, many of them were beautifully dressed women whose jewellery fascinated me. But the real turning point came when my business partner and I sold our hotel. I asked myself what I wanted to do next. At first, I didn’t know where to begin. I spent six years learning, not because I was slow, but because I wasn’t yet confident. I visited thousands of factories, studied craftsmanship and eventually began creating pieces unlike anything on the market. From day one, my designs stood out. That mix of humility, curiosity and the desire to serve people, all learned in hospitality, became the foundation of the brand.

OHLALA – When you look at the brand through your own eyes, what

defines Roberto Coin at its core? And among your different collections, which do you feel best expresses that identity today?

Roberto – At the core of the brand is diversity, innovation and the belief that no two women should be dressed the same. Big brands try to dress everyone identically, but I wanted the opposite. Many people told me it was impossible. That’s exactly why I did it. Very early on, I invented a new way of building a brand: creating hundreds of models so that each woman could find something unique. Today, we create around 600 designs a year, a figure no other single factory in the world can match. Among our collections, Appassionata is the perfect expression of this identity.

OHLALA – Since 1996, you have signed each of your creations with a

OHLALA – You create pieces that mark key moments in people’s lives.

What moment in your own life has shaped your hand, your eye or your sense of detail as a creator?

Roberto – I don’t have a specific moment, but I can say that what shaped me

the most were problems. I love solving them.

People say I think outside the box, and it’s true; challenges excite me. Whenever I face difficulties, I find new ideas. That mindset shaped both my style and my career.

OHLALA – You were part of the World

Diamond Council, deeply involved in ethical and origin concerns. What are the issues the industry still needs to address?

Roberto – No industry is perfect, and ours certainly isn’t. We’ve done a lot of work with our own time and money (nobody was paying us) to ensure that diamonds are sold legally and ethically. But there are always people who try to cheat. I’m no longer on the board, but one debate in which I strongly disagreed was the one over natural and laboratory-grown diamonds. I believed they could coexist only if they were clearly separated. I personally would never use lab-grown diamonds, but if my son wanted to start a company with them, I would support him.

What matters is transparency. They need to be marked in a way that leaves no room for doubt, a clear identifier that tells consumers exactly what they’re buying. Gold traceability is another issue: not all of it is traceable yet. Still, I believe jewellery is trying harder than many other industries to become fully ethical.

OHLALA – Your creations are very popular in Qatar and across the Middle

East. Why do you think your design language resonates so strongly here, and how does this region fit into your vision for the brand?

Roberto – The Middle East has been important to me for a very long time.

I first came to Dubai, and very quickly, clients started coming to us from all over the region. In Qatar, our partnership with Al Majed Group Holding and the opening of our boutique in Msheireb Downtown Doha in 2022 enabled us to showcase the Roberto Coin universe in a very intimate way. I think our Princess Flower collection speaks very strongly to women here, and the name probably helped a lot. The history behind it as well: it’s inspired by the floral decorations of Venetian palaces. And, of course, who doesn’t love flowers?

OHLALA – How can technology and Italian craftsmanship coexist in the

jewellery field?

Roberto – Italian craftsmanship is one of the most precious things we have, and today it’s becoming challenging to preserve, especially with new technologies and now with AI. I’m studying these tools myself. I don’t love them, but I know we must understand them. We use very advanced machinery in our factory and anyone can buy the same machines. The difference is that we have extraordinary engineers and creative minds who can teach these machines to behave differently to achieve results no one else can with the same equipment.

That is a kind of invisible craftsmanship in itself. But in the end, the most important skill to preserve is the work of the hand. The hand is what makes a piece truly perfect. Technology can support us, but the soul of Italian jewellery will always come from the human touch.

t’s my third time at Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas, but only now have I finally made it to eforea spa. One thing I can say is that the entrance immediately sets the tone. The space is bright and built around white arches and carved details, with low seating areas. I’m welcomed with a hibiscus, mint and honey tea as well as a warm towel scented with lemongrass essential oil. That tiny combo alone could fix a mood!

Lucy, my therapist for the morning, explains that I’ll be trying the 75-minute Salwa Signature Sensation Oriental Ritual, inspired by ancestral Oriental practices. Basically, a mix of skin renewal through exfoliation and pure restorative pleasure thanks to the massage. Everything is done with Sothys products, a French brand I know very well.

I’m all for Hammam when it comes to deep cleansing, but I’m genuinely curious to discover this different technique. The treatment begins with a foot scrub: simple, grounding and the best way to signal to the body that it’s allowed to stop rushing. Then I lay face down on the massage bed and the focus shifts to my lower legs with a pre-exfoliation syrup. I like the thick texture. Lucy works it in gently, just enough for it to wrap evenly over every inch of me. Then starts the exfoliation itself, done with a clay stone.

I had a tiny fear it might be too rough for my sensitive skin, but she works with such a light, steady pressure that it never crosses the line. Whenever an area feels a little more reactive, she places her hand on it afterwards, just to settle the sensation.

Once all the impurities are brushed away, Lucy follows with comforting hot towels to sweep off the last traces of product and keep the pores open. Third and final step: a nourishing amber modelling oil, warmed beforehand to enhance the massage. What I love about her technique is the intention behind it: long, steady movements that actually engage the muscles instead of just gliding over them. She repeats the sequence from head to toe, finishing with the stomach, neck and décolleté.

Next Up: The 60-minute Sothys Personalised Facial After a body ritual, what’s better than jumping straight into a facial? It’s the kind of double-hit that feels like an instant reset. And it’s also the quickest way to gauge a brand’s real expertise. Lucy turns the lights back on to take a proper look and immediately spots that I have combination skin. She starts with a thorough cleanse using the Purifying Cleansing Milk with iris extract. Iris is great for balance and comfort, and the texture of this cleanser is exactly the kind I prefer, very creamy and gentle. Then she follows with the Vitality Lotion, made of grapefruit extract, to refresh and tone. Next part? The exfoliation. As she applies the scrub, she turns on a facial steamer next to my face. The warm mist slowly opens the pores, and I love that sensation – I can feel everything soften bit by bit.

On to my favourite part of any facial: the massage. I’m convinced this is what makes all the difference. You can have the best products at home, but nothing replaces skilled hands. It feels good, of course, but it also drains, de-puffs and wakes up the features. Here it’s done with the Biostimulating Oil, which blends essential oils of rosemary, myrtle, lemon and pine, a mix that brings circulation back to life. After that, it’s time for the Energizing Radiance Mask. It’s packed with organic eleuthero root extract, known for boosting energy and resilience, and Siberian ginseng root, which helps brighten and revitalise, precisely what I need. While the mask sets, 58

she moves on to a head massage, a step I always consider essential for a treatment to feel complete. I’m such a fan that I could do a Korean head spa every day; there’s something instantly relaxing about having your scalp worked on like that.

To finish, she applies the full routine: toner, serum, moisturiser and, of course, SPF. I am going for a terrace lunch right after, so it’s the perfect last step. Before leaving the room and since she can’t use it on other guests, Lucy hands me the little clay stone she worked with to exfoliate my body.

I’ll keep using it for sure!

I sit down for a quick tea break in the relaxation room, where they hand me a piece of chocolate. Such a small thing, but it instantly wins me over. It’s a nice change from the usual nuts-and-dried-fruit routine and honestly, chocolate deserves its wellness moment too. Before I head out, I do a quick tour of the facilities, even if I sadly can’t try them today. Sauna, steam room, experience shower, hydra-therapy pool – there’s everything you need to take it even further – definitely a place I’d want to come back to with more time.

The L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Middle East Regional Young Talents Program showcases the women behind cutting-edge projects in the region, and OHLALA had the pleasure of interviewing some of them.

I

t’s not every day you see programmes that support women in the region, especially ones that have a significant impact. Now in its 12th year, the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Middle East Regional Young Talents Program, in partnership with Khalifa University of Science and Technology (in Abu Dhabi), does that consistently.

The initiative recognises the groundbreaking work of Arab women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), whose discoveries address urgent challenges and inspire future generations. The programme has a global reach. Since its launch in 1998, L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science has celebrated more than 4,700 researchers from over 140 countries and associated territories, with 63 from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), awarding a total of USD1.035 million in endowments to advance their research.

The 2025 edition honoured six remarkable Arab female researchers driving innovation in STEM. Despite the global barriers women in science continue to face, these scientists have achieved breakthroughs that are vital to the region’s future. They not only promote scientific progress but also serve as inspiring examples of perseverance and passion. OHLALA had the opportunity to interview them to bring awareness to their work and support this unique initiative.

OHLALA – How do you see the scientific field in the region?

In your opinion, what are the biggest challenges scientists in the Middle East face?

Dr Ayat Hammad – The scientific field in the Middle East is advancing at an impressive pace, particularly in the Gulf region. In recent years, we’ve seen the establishment of new universities offering advanced graduate programmes and a growing enthusiasm among young researchers to pursue scientific careers. Investment in research funding is increasing, and regional and international collaborations are strengthening, raising both the quality and global visibility of scientific output. However, some challenges persist, such as difficulty in securing an international research grant. In addition, implementing clinical research and trials remains challenging in parts of the region, as patient participation and public awareness of their value are still developing.

Overcoming these barriers through stronger regional networks and public engagement will be key to sustaining this momentum.

Dr Fatimah Abdulhakim – The scientific field in the Middle East is growing rapidly, driven by national strategies that prioritise research, innovation and talent development. We are seeing major investments in research centres, biotech, space exploration, agriculture, sustainability and environmental sciences. The region is shifting from being primarily a consumer of technology to becoming a producer of knowledge and solutions adapted to our unique environments. One of the key challenges is translating research outcomes into real-world applications. We have strong talent and research outputs, but we need stronger bridges between academia, industry and policy.

Ohood Al-Ghadani – I see that the scientific field in the Middle East is showing continuous growth and remarkable development, with women playing an increasingly important role that reflects their active contribution to this sector.

According to UNESCO statistics, female STEM graduates in the Arab States represent a higher proportion than the global average, exceeding many other regions and highlighting a positive trend in science in the region. However, in my opinion, the field still faces challenges, including limited research funding in some countries and difficulties accessing advanced equipment and the resources needed to conduct high-quality scientific research.

Programmes like this not only celebrate achievements but also create real opportunities that benefit both science and society, inspiring younger generations to believe that they, too, can build successful scientific careers.

Dr Nadine Hosny El Said – These programmes are not just awards, they’re catalysts for transformation. For me, being recognised in the Middle East edition was both humbling and empowering. It gave visibility not only to my work on lncRNAs in metabolic diseases but also to the idea that cutting-edge science is happening here, in our region. These initiatives build a network of women researchers who uplift one another, inspire universities to create more inclusive environments and show young girls that science is not a distant dream, it’s a real and attainable path. They normalise seeing women as leaders in science, as principal investigators, innovators and decision-makers. They also highlight the importance of funding, inclusion and policy change to support women’s participation. In short, they shift the narrative from ‘women trying to find a place in the science field’ to ‘women shaping the future of science.’

Keep your spirit high and your goals in sight; each effort you make brings you closer to something meaningful. 10 Tips to Help You Exercise - Change your mindset. Think of exercising as something you get to do, you are healthy enough, you can make time for it, rather than something you should do, that is part of a to-do list as an obligation. Look at it as a small luxury in your everyday life.

- Create habits that stick. Start with something small, such as walking 15 minutes a day. Don't aim for something big at the beginning that you know you won't be able to repeat easily. Also, make it convenient.

- Enter challenges. Choose a friend, family member or partner to join you in an exercise challenge. You can start with daily steps or go for fullon programmes to see who will win. You can even establish a prize or a prank at the end of it.

- Find a purpose to move. Maybe you lost weight and want to keep your new slim shape, or you want to improve your mental health (studies show that exercise is closely related to a sense of well-being). No matter what, find a reason and stick to it.

- Find your tribe. Sometimes all you need to do to move more is find a group of people you like to hang out with and organise team sports.

Padel and tennis have apparently become quite popular, with many places offering spaces that can be rented for your gang.

- Hire a personal trainer. Having someone on your side, giving you instructions on what to do next and tracking your performance is the best way to get bitten by the 'exercise bug'. Someone who is motivating and a little harsh from time to time can help.

- Introduce habit stacking in your daily life. Habit stacking is taking something you already do and pairing it with a new habit. You brush your teeth every day. Why not add squats into the equation? You can do 10 of them while brushing, or right after. Soon enough, it will become an automatic habit.

- Put it on your calendar. Just like you do with appointments, meeting friends and date nights, create a schedule that blocks that specific time for exercise. It doesn't have to be many days a week, even one is better than nothing.

- Try something completely different. Are you tired of the same type of exercises being offered out there? What about joining an adult ballet class?

Or even go for gymnastics? Sometimes you just have to find what makes you happy to keep you moving.

find exploring a new hotel super exciting! From brand-new rooms and facilities to avant-garde dining spots and innovative spa treatments. I have yet to meet someone who wouldn’t be delighted at the opportunity. Lucky girl here got to experience one of the newest properties in Qatar: the Swissôtel Corniche Park Towers Doha.

As the name suggests, the new address is located by the Doha Corniche, a seven-kilometre-long waterfront promenade. A detail that I enjoyed in the mornings for a casual stroll and in the evenings for a run. The nice weather allowed me and a big crowd of locals and tourists to enjoy this fantastic part of Doha. I absolutely loved the vibes, the illuminated boats offering short trips around the coast and the incredible art pieces along the path. The hotel’s honeycomb-inspired façade adds to the West Bay skyline, standing out for its stunning architectural design – I saw many people taking photos in front of it, definitely a building that catches the eye.

As soon as I stepped into the lobby, I was welcomed by Sandeepani, the Guest Relations Manager, and a colourful welcome drink. While the exterior focusses on the bees’ sense of community and purpose, the interior reflects a local touch with abstract green mosaics on the walls that represent Qatar’s national tree, the Sidr, a symbol of strength, offering healing qualities. After spending some time appreciating the installation and the beauty of the space, I checked in smoothly and was in my Vitality Room in no time.

SLEEP MEETS MOVEMENT The hotel features 342 contemporary guest rooms and suites across 38 floors, along with 121 branded residences. My Vitality Room was on the 10th floor and the view of the corniche was beyond spectacular, especially the sunrises. Just like any five-star property, it had the most comfortable bed, automatic curtains, a living area with a sofa and a desk for those wanting to work with a view. However, the ultimate detail in this room was the special fitness wall, accompanied by a screen that lets you select the exercise sequence you would like to follow – absolutely brilliant!

For those who are even slightly enthusiastic about movement, I can’t recommend this room enough. I am not an athlete, but, as mentioned earlier, I do like running and try to go for it at least a few times a week.

With the corniche just outside the hotel, I couldn’t resist, and after my run, I would get back to my room and enjoy some stretching or core programmes to complement my cardio. I also enjoyed working while sitting on the stability ball, which was available in my unique room.

The bathroom was filled with all the necessary amenities. For the most delightful shower, the space included dual shower heads, a rain shower head and a detachable handheld unit, as well as a bathtub. But the feature that caught my attention was the smart toilet (with automatic lid opening/ closing via sensors). We are talking about a hotel that is all about comfort with a touch of tech to pamper its guests.

RELAXATION HAS A NAME For a property that has recently opened, having an operating spa is a remarkable asset. Pürovel Spa & Sport offers a wide menu of pampering experiences with Swiss DNA. The wellness space is quite extensive, incorporating 10 treatment rooms (including ladies’, men’s and unisex areas), a fitness centre, yoga studios and an outdoor infinity pool with views of the sea (I didn’t have time to enjoy it on this visit, but hopefully in the near future). www.ohlalamag.net

The Swissôtel brand carries sustainability at its core. With that in mind, there are tones of green and décor inspired by nature everywhere – I believe this enhances the sense of calm and tranquillity. At Pürovel, each room is named after flowers (ladies’ side) and trees (on the men’s side) from the Swiss Alps. What I liked most is that there is a changing space with a closet inside the treatment room – a thoughtful touch.

I headed there to embrace the Swiss Vitality Bliss, a signature massage that uses cryo balls, cupping and hot stones to help release muscle tension. It started with a classic hand massage to activate my circulation, followed by the cupping therapy. The suction created by the cups helps increase blood flow and loosen tight muscles without the pain of pressure points.

The hot stones came after. Heat is recommended for achy muscles, which means they were perfect to follow up on cupping. On my back, before applying the hot stones, the therapist used the cryo balls. Cryo therapy is indicated for sore muscles and is perfect for after intense workouts. While heat promotes relaxation and soothes muscle tension, a cold massage with roller balls improves blood circulation and reduces inflammation. It was a unique experience that delivered deep relaxation. I highly recommend it for anyone with knots or stiffness here and there, just like me.

GOOD FOOD, GREAT AMBIENCE My culinary journey at Swissôtel Corniche Park Towers Doha started with breakfast at The Quarter, with views of the corniche and plenty of sunlight illuminating the room. Starting the day with this vibrant energy, accompanied by fruits, hot coffee and freshly baked flatbread with cheese and eggs prepared to my request is, I believe, the right fuel for a splendid day.

Lunch happened at Azal, a restaurant that took my taste buds on a trip through Persian flavours, with timeless recipes such as saffron rice and Mahiche (lamb shank slow-braised with onion, garlic and saffron). We had a marvellous spread showcasing a cuisine I am not very familiar with but eager to know more about. The freshly baked flatbread arrived, and I couldn’t resist pairing it with the delicious dips available, such as Borani Bademjan (with an eggplant base) and Mast Khiar (yoghurt with cucumber and mint). But the star dishes were the charcoal-grilled lamb chops and skewers, with juicy, beautifully seasoned meat.

My other meal was in my favourite of them all, Embers. A fine-dining eatery that celebrates smoke and heat with food prepared on open flames, from delectable beef cuts to vegetables. It also has a special fridge and counter for one of the restaurant’s specialities: aged meat. Slabs of Himalayan salt are also available for special preparations made directly on the salt blocks. The chef prepared a fantastic course for my dining companion and me, including Josper-roasted carrots with a caramelised touch, the most delicious eggplant miso that I have ever tasted, scallops prepared with seaweed hollandaise sauce cooked to perfection and the signature dessert, the Lava Roasted Peach – a touch of fire in every course, absolutely fantastic!

And there is more, L’Assiette provides an all-day dining experience with a wide selection of teas and bites. The Node Coffee pairs artisanal pastries with signature blends and Chezelle is a patisserie and chocolate boutique.

A PROMISE TO RETURN Swissôtel Corniche Park Towers Doha is one of those hotels that, once you’ve stayed, you want to keep going back to. And you want to do it, either for the incredible hospitality of its staff, the state-of-the-art facilities, the impressive rooms (big shout-out for my Vitality Room), or the culinary offering that not only feeds your soul but also offers incredible views of the corniche. I felt my goodbye to the team was more of a see-you-later kind of farewell. rom the moment we arrived, Vienna revealed its charm with an effortless grace – refined, historic and inviting in a way only great cities can be. That early glimpse of Vienna’s character soon emerged as the rhythm of our entire stay. The city greeted us with an elegance that felt both welcoming and wonderfully grand – wide boulevards, crisp winter air and a sense of history that made every corner feel like the prelude to an opera.

Our invitation to experience the newly reimagined Anantara Palais Hansen Vienna Hotel had set expectations high. After all, it is not every day that one checks into a former World’s Fair masterpiece on the iconic Ringstrasse (a circular grand boulevard that serves as a ring road around Vienna’s historic city centre). Crafted initially by Theophil Hansen in the 19th century and reimagined in 2025, this landmark promised grand architecture, cultural artistry and indulgence in equal measure. We were ready for all of it – ideally with an Einspänner, the city’s signature coffee, in hand.

A WELCOME ETCHED IN ELEGANCE The hotel’s façade rose before us like a perfectly framed painting – stately, symmetrical and unmistakably Viennese. Inside, the welcome ritual immediately set the tone. The team had a way of making the formal feel familiar; check-in was swift, gracious and filled with those small touches that remind you why five-star hospitality is an art form.

Our suite was a blend of modern refinement and historic personality, the kind of space that encouraged both exploration and the irresistible urge to sink into the nearest armchair. Across the hotel, Anantara’s inhouse design team refurbished 62 guest rooms and 90 suites, the most in any city hotel, blending historic appeal with contemporary polish in a range of configurations. Many feature balconies, 3.5-metre ceilings and oversized windows, while triple-glazing keeps the Ringstrasse bustle out.

No sooner had we unpacked than dusk settled over the city, signalling our first appointment: an aperitif at Theo’s Lounge & Bar.

Theo’s had already gained a reputation for marrying innovation with Viennese café culture. The mixologists worked with local fortified juices, seasonal produce and even ‘ugly’ herbs – a sustainable philosophy we applauded while pretending we always knew which fermented fruit skins contributed to a cocktail’s profile. As the ring boulevard lights appeared outside, the bar shifted from chic café to evening destination and we happily shifted with it.

A guided tour of the property revealed the scale of the transformation.

Neo-Renaissance bones, modern luxury and curated design touches came together seamlessly. But the showstopper awaited upstairs: Vienna’s largest Presidential Suite – an impressive 408sq/m that can offer up to four bedrooms – where Executive Chef Dieter Stamminger hosted a private dinner. Courses blended Austrian and Viennese classics with international finesse, each beautifully paired and served against a backdrop of city views and refined grandeur.

A CITY WORTH WANDERING Though the hotel was the star of our journey, Vienna demanded – and deserved – its own space on our itinerary. Breakfast at Brasserie Sophie energised our morning, followed by a Signature Experience tracing the footsteps of Theophil Hansen himself. From Parliament to the Academy of Fine Arts, Hansen’s architectural legacy appeared everywhere once we knew where to look.

A stop at A.E. Köchert, jeweller to the Imperial Court, added a sparkle to our day. It was the kind of place where history and craftsmanship sit so closely together that you half expect a member of the royal family to step into the queue.

Lunch at Schwarzes Kameel, dating back to 1618, offered a delicious introduction to Vienna’s culinary heritage before we set out to explore the city’s festive side. Over the course of the afternoon and evening, we wandered through three Christmas markets, including Rathausplatz Christkindlmarkt, Vienna’s largest, each offering its own atmosphere – from grand, illuminated squares to more intimate courtyards filled with the scent of spice, roasted nuts and mulled grape. www.ohlalamag.net

A definite highlight was witnessing the now iconic scene in Rathausplatz in which a big red heart is released from a tower and floats across the winter sky by cable, with its own musical accompaniment, to light up a tree decorated with glowing, illuminated hearts. The giant Christmas tree in the square and nearby ice rink are fabulous, but it was the heart display that truly stole the show, a magical experience that we won’t soon forget.

Against a backdrop of winter and festive lights, it became clear that Vienna wears the season exceptionally well.

The following morning brought another highlight: the Spanish Riding School. Watching Lipizzaner stallions train with such precision and calm felt like witnessing a centuries-old dance – graceful, disciplined and entirely enchanting.

THE HEART OF OUR STAY As much as Vienna captivated us, the Anantara Palais Hansen Vienna Hotel continually drew us back with its effortless charm. Breakfasts were an indulgent ritual. The Signature Buffet showcased Austrian specialities alongside mezze and the à la carte dishes from Chef Dieter ensured mornings began with flavour and finesse. Sparkling grape or a classic Viennese coffee? We tried both – for research purposes, of course.

Dinner on our second evening elevated our appreciation even further.

EDVARD, the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant led by Head Chef Paul Gamauf, delivered a tasting journey rooted in sustainability and creativity. By day, it felt bright and welcoming; by night, intimate – sober wood finishes and aged mirrors offset by playful floral wallpaper and rich velvet. The seasonal tasting followed the natural cycle of the year, spotlighting local and regional ingredients that were cooked, pickled, preserved and even processed into lowwaste beverages. Pairings selected by Head Sommelier Klaus Lechner – from unusual grapes to thoughtfully crafted juices – made each course memorable.

It was an unmistakably modern expression of Viennese gastronomy.

Throughout our stay, service remained impeccable. From the warm guidance offered by the team to the seamless organisation of experiences, everything reflected a commitment to hospitality that was both heartfelt and sophisticated.

AS WE TOOK OUR LEAVE As our time in Vienna drew to a close, we realised something important: the grandeur of a city is best experienced through the places that welcome you. hy choose when you can have both? The comfort of Italian staples and the buzz of a modern dining room, the soul of tradition and the polish of a global name.

Scarpetta was born in New York City in 2008 with exactly that idea in mind: taking Italian cuisine out of trattoria clichés and giving it a sharper, more contemporary edge, without losing its heart.

Launched by LDV Hospitality, the concept quickly became a reference for what many now call New York Italian: refined but not rigid, generous but carefully executed. From Manhattan, Scarpetta grew into an international name. In 2023, Doha joined that journey as the brand’s first Middle Eastern outpost, and a rather fitting one.

Scarpetta sits inside Waldorf Astoria Doha Lusail, a place I genuinely enjoy coming back to. The restaurant was designed by David Collins Studio and is built around clean lines, warm wood, leather banquettes and a large central bar that structures the space. It’s a proper dining room: stylish, comfortable and made to last. Outside, the terrace overlooks the pool and palm trees and when the weather allows, it’s easily one of the best places to sit.

Ayman, my host for the day, walks me through the menu. Very quickly, it becomes obvious that my choices are about to be strongly influenced by him, in the best possible way. He also picks a mocktail for me, the Black Stone Berry, made of passion fruit, lime, raspberry and hibiscus tea. I usually avoid sweet drinks altogether (I’m very much a water person), but I like this one. Yes, it’s sweet, but in a fresh, sharp way. The hibiscus brings a light bitterness, the lime cuts through the fruit and the raspberry rounds everything out.

He also brings a black bowl to the table, filled with thick slices of rosemary focaccia, golden at the edges, soft and oily inside, alongside Stromboli bread rolled with broccoli, kale, mozzarella and sun-dried tomato. On a wooden board sit three accompaniments: silky mascarpone butter, bright citrus olive oil and an eggplant carbonara with parsley. Along with it comes the amuse-bouche of the day: a little fried mushroom ball, served with a tartar-style sauce and dusted with mushroom powder. This one changes regularly, depending on what the kitchen feels like exploring.

After the amuse-bouche, things shift to something fresh and very well put together with the Farmer’s Market Salad. On the plate: three types of lettuce for contrast in both colour and texture. They are mixed with seasonal vegetables and truffle pecorino. One of the other best-sellers is the Braised Short Rib: thick slices of meat coated in a glossy, dark demiglace. The ribs themselves are incredibly tender, slow-cooked to the point where they fall apart with a fork. Alongside them comes a barley risotto instead of the usual rice. The texture is firmer, slightly nutty and more rustic, mixed with cheese and vegetables like courgette and carrot for softness and balance. A few shavings of cheese on top finish it off.

For the mains, I’m trying two signatures: one from the pasta side and one from the New York Steak Classics section. Cacio e pepe is usually a tangle of spaghetti, a delicious Roman recipe built on nothing more than pecorino, Parmesan and black pepper. Scarpetta flips the script. Instead of long pasta, the flavours are tucked inside homemade ravioli shaped like little boats, their folds sealing in the mix, so every bite is richer, creamier and more indulgent than the traditional version. They’re coated in a silky butter-and-cheese emulsion, just peppery enough to keep things lively, with shards of crisp Parmesan on top and a touch of charred leek for smokiness. It’s familiar, but dialled up. Having the cheese enclosed in the pasta rather than simply worked into the sauce makes it even more satisfying.

If you’re the type who scans the menu for the meat section first, this American Black Angus beef tenderloin is exactly where your eyes will land. It’s stacked in generous layers: a toasted pan brioche at the base, thick medallions of tenderloin and, on top, a golden piece of seared foie gras.

Everything is coated in a deep mushroom gravy. On the side, a mix of asparagus (green and white), mushrooms and carrots, sautéed, keeping the focus on the main event.

To close the loop, what whispers more Italian than tiramisu? At Scarpetta, it lands with a twist. The glass is already layered with mascarpone and soaked sponge fingers, sealed under a dark Valrhona chocolate dome (73%). In front of me, Ayman pours a hot Lavazza espresso straight over it. The heat melts the chocolate, it collapses and the coffee spills through the cream and biscuits. In seconds, the whole thing turns warm, glossy and dangerously inviting.

By the time I’ve scraped the last spoonful of dessert, I realise Scarpetta does precisely what it promises: classic at heart, modern in spirit and very easy to return to.

ollowing a very welcome invitation from Ferrari Middle East, we arrived in Lisbon from the Gulf and were swiftly transferred south to the Pine Cliffs Resort in Albufeira – a setting that felt entirely appropriate for the unveiling of Ferrari’s latest Grand Tourer. After a welcoming drink overlooking the Atlantic OHLALA’s team spent the evening listening intently to Ferrari designers and engineers, gaining insight into the thinking behind the new Amalfi before watching footage that introduced the car in detail. It was a refined, unhurried start – one that allowed the philosophy behind the model to unfold naturally.

The following morning, we regrouped early and headed out on a test-drive route designed specifically for the Amalfi. The course traced the coastline around Albufeira before climbing into the surrounding mountains, combining flowing roads, elevation changes and wide-open views. As Ferrari’s new front-mid-engine V8 2+ coupé – and the model created to replace the Roma – the Amalfi arrives with a clear mandate: to evolve the Grand Touring concept for a modern audience. From the first kilometres, it was evident that this Ferrari had been shaped with balance, composure and everyday usability firmly in mind.

A MODERN SCULPTURE The Ferrari Amalfi presents itself with a composed, contemporary elegance.

Finished in its launch colour, Verde Costiera – a light teal inspired by the reflections of the Amalfi Coast – the sculpted bodywork subtly shifts character as light moves across its surfaces. It is expressive without excess, refined without restraint.

The design follows a fluid, minimalist philosophy, with clean surfaces and sculpted volumes forming a sleek, monolithic speedform. At the front, the absence of a traditional grille is immediately noticeable. A floating bodycoloured wing sits above a dark recessed band integrating sensors and lighting, while a long, sculpted bonnet stretches forward, hinting at the twin-turbo V8 beneath. The lower splitter adds visual width and a sense of purpose.

Along the sides, a wedge-shaped theme and lighting units integrated into technical cuts create a sense of motion even at rest. At the rear, precise graphic cuts conceal the taillights, referencing Ferrari heritage through a modern lens. A wide diffuser communicates aerodynamic intent, while the integrated active rear spoiler remains discreetly hidden until required.

The overall effect is cohesive and assured – a design confident in its clarity.

MINIMALIST MASTERY Inside, the Amalfi adopts a dual-cockpit layout that envelops both driver and passenger in two visually connected cells. While certain architectural elements reference the Roma, the majority of the interior has been newly developed for the Amalfi, resulting in a cabin that feels more contemporary, focussed and refined.

Ferrari has simplified the interior language, prioritising clean architecture, premium materials and seamless technology integration. The dashboard introduces a monolithic layout, merging the instrument cluster and air vents into a single sculptural form. The central tunnel, milled from a block of anodised aluminium, appears suspended, housing the gear selector gate, wireless charging pad, key slot and secondary controls.

Carbon fibre accents and contrasting stitching add exclusivity, while the bold interior colour palette – highlighted by Verde Bellagio in the launch configuration – draws attention toward the driver-focussed front section.

The 2+ seating configuration enhances practicality, allowing the rear seats to expand cargo capacity or accommodate children. Optional comfort seats, available in three sizes, feature ventilation and a multi-programme massage function – a welcome indulgence that enhances the already relaxed atmosphere on board.

HUMAN-MACHINE HARMONY Ferrari’s renewed Human-Machine Interface marks a meaningful step forward in usability. The new steering wheel returns to physical buttons, improving ergonomics and ease of recognition while driving. The iconic aluminium start button has also returned, positioned on the left.

Three displays anchor the digital experience. A 15.6-inch digital instrument cluster presents driving and vehicle dynamics information with clarity, while the 10.25-inch central touchscreen controls multimedia, navigation, climate, seat functions and vehicle settings. An 8.8-inch passenger display allows the co-driver to view engine revs and G-forces, encouraging engagement without distraction.

Connectivity includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and wireless smartphone charging as standard, alongside the MyFerrari Connect system for remote vehicle monitoring. The optional Burmester Premium Audio System, delivering 1,200 watts through 14 speakers, transforms the cabin into an immersive listening environment well suited to long coastal drives.

PRECISION AND POWER At the heart of the Ferrari Amalfi lies the latest evolution of the 3,855cc twin-turbo V8 from the award-winning F154 family. Producing 640cv and paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, it delivers immediate throttle response and a progressive surge of power that feels both exhilarating and composed.

Performance figures are emphatic – 0–100km/h in 3.3 seconds and 0–200HP/ h in 9.0 seconds – yet what impressed us most on the roads around Albufeira was balance. Power delivery is smooth and confidence-inspiring, allowing the Amalfi to flow naturally along the route rather than overwhelm it.

Braking performance stands out just as clearly. Brake-by-wire technology and the ABS Evo controller deliver strong, consistent stopping force with excellent modulation. Pedal feel remains progressive and reassuring, even under repeated heavy use, reinforcing the Amalfi’s sense of control during dynamic driving.

INTEGRATED ASSISTANCE The Amalfi is equipped with a comprehensive suite of next-generation driver assistance systems designed to support rather than intrude. Features include Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, traffic sign recognition and driver drowsiness detection. Optional Surround View and Rear Cross Traffic Alert enhance awareness in everyday scenarios.

These systems integrate seamlessly with Ferrari’s electronic architecture and work in harmony with Side Slip Control 6.1 and the car’s dynamic systems. The result is a Grand Tourer that feels secure and composed without diminishing engagement – an essential balance for a Ferrari intended to be driven regularly.
