Furthermore, the brand is fitting modern models with the exceptional multi-sensory vehicle experience, the BMW iDrive 8 Infotainment System. This latest generation exhibits major upgrades in the user interface, natural voice recognition and cloud-based machine learning. Add the latest version of the BMW Head-Up Display, along with the enhanced capabilities of the BMW Intelligent Personal Assist to the equation, and you have one of the most capable configurations available on the market. When it came to the on-road performance of the 740i, we were not disappointed. The 2023 model houses an Inline 6-cylinder, mild hybrid (48V), BMW TwinPower Turbo Engine. This mechanical monster generates 380hp along with 540Nm of torque. This translates to a 0-100km/h time of just 5.4 seconds and an electronically capped top speed of 250km/h.

Why Do You Need a Plan?

A new year full of possibilities is right in front of us. Have you planned what to do with the 365 days waiting for you in 2023?

When reading business and psychology reports, we understand the importance of planning. It has been proven that we tend to get things done and reach our objectives successfully when we actually plan first – making it specific and time/place-dependent. According to psychologytoday.com, a series of studies from E.J. Masicampo and Roy Baumeister demonstrated that committing to a particular plan for a goal frees up cognitive resources for other pursuits. This means that in addition to helping us be more successful in achieving a specific intent, planning lets us get on with other stuff too. From the moment a plan is made to transform that one goal into reality, we make room for others to concretise.

If well outlined, you can create short, medium and long-term plans and have them all working out the way you envisioned them. You just need to have a clear idea of what you want and look at it, even if it is a small project, with a plan well sketched. Lewis Carroll once said: “If you don’t know where you are going, any road will lead you there.”

Here are some of the reasons you should start planning today:

- First and foremost, planning helps you achieve your purpose.

- It helps you set your priorities.

- It makes a big task look smaller. No one should attempt to conquer a huge task directly. If you plan it and break it down, it will look like tiny bits of jobs and be more achievable.

- It makes the process clearer.

- It makes you more efficient.

- It helps you deal with crossroads and find alternatives.

- It builds your confidence.

- It helps you accept imperfections.

- It eliminates regret.

- And finally, it leads you to success. The whole meaning behind planning something is to succeed.
