THE ALL-NEW BMW 4 SERIES GRAND COUPÉ 430i

OHLALA SPENT THE DAY IN THE NEW BMW 4 GRAND COUPÉ 430 i , AN EXPERIENCE WE WON’T SOON BE FORGETTING.

BMW is one of the world’s most recognised brands and for a good reason. Striving for near perfection with every motor vehicle offering produced, they are constantly pushing the envelope in terms of practicality, functionality, innovation and, of course, class.

This month, OHLALA received access to the 2023 BMW 4 Series Grand Coupé 430i, compliments of the exceptional team at Euro Motors.

Exterior

The new BMW Grand Coupé 430i is amongst the latest 4 Series models released by the super brand BMW. The moment we laid eyes on this midsize luxury four-door sedan, we were sold. The expertly crafted front end of the 430i is characterised by bold lines and broad surfaces that emphasise the three-dimensional structure of the design. The main focal point of this 4 Series Grand Coupé’s expressive front end is the large and vertically prominent BMW kidney grille, flanked by the slim, full-LED headlights. These U-shaped front lamps come with fibre-optic light guides designed to optimise the daytime driving lights. Bold and precise body lines run from bonnet to boot, drawing the eyes to the frameless windows, flush-fitting handles and 17-inch light alloy wheels. Powerful shoulders add to the 430i’s athletic appearance, as does the pronounced spoiler lip on the tailgate. At the back, the low-slung, robust stance of the car is underscored by a rear apron with vertical aero lips at its outer edges and a black finish for its lower edge. The ultra-slim, full-LED rear lights have been fashionably darkened and extend well into the flanks, highlighting the vehicle’s width.

Interior

Slipping into the supportive and ultra-comfortable front sport seats of the 430i’s spacious, driver-orientated cockpit, we immediately noted the perfect positioning of the classically designed control panel in the centre console. Also contained in this area is the BMW Controller, as well as the buttons for the Driving Experience Control unit, electromechanical parking brake and the gearshift lever.
