DAMEN Yacht Support confirmed the sale of a new 55.5-metre YS 5009 (182 ft) from the Yacht Support range of vessels. The new vessel is currently under construction and due for delivery in summer 2019.

The DAMEN Yacht Support team worked with the owner’s team to create a highly customised design based on the YS 5009 (pictured). When delivered, she will be the seventh YS 5009 sailing today and, like recent deliveries POWER PLAY, SHADOW and AXIS, she features owner and guest interiors. Together with extra staff cabins, lots of storage and luxury service facilities, the whole proven platform comes in at under 500 Gross Tonnage.

The buyer has appointed Burgess Technical Services to assist with supervising the rest of the build process.
