Hello, sunshine!

Travel means different things to different people. For some, it’s about discovering history and architecture and for others, it’s about exploring natural landscapes. When I visit a new place, I find interacting with the locals and trying out the traditional food to be the most interesting experiences. No matter what type of a globetrotter you are, our cover story this month has you covered. We’ve come up with some of the most exciting summertime destinations, offering diverse things to see and do. There’s a lot happening this month, from concerts to art exhibitions. Read our Listen Up pages to find out more. While you’re at it, browse through the dining offers. While Eid al-Adha and Father’s Day are the major events to watch out for this month, there’s a wide range of other gastronomic adventures to embark upon, from barbecues and brunches to delightful afternoon teas.
We review a bunch of interesting dining spots too. Check out the newly redesigned Fiamma Italian restaurant over at Sofitel Bahrain. Everything’s new and improved, from the décor to the menu, and we love it! We also tried a romantic getaway at The Domain Bahrain.
In motoring, we take the all-new HONGQI Ousado for a spin around town. Our past experiences with HONGQI had raised the bar but we’re happy to share that this beastly saloon lives up to the name. The new BMW 5 series is due to launch later this year and you can learn more in this issue. Further, FACT attended the unveiling of Genesis’ lineup of EV models in Saudi. Elsewhere we take a look at what’s interesting in the movies, music, books, fashion and beauty worlds.
