Nestled in the Blue Crane Nature Reserve, and overlooking the beautiful Nottingham Road valley, Brahman Hills is the place to have this masterful team create magical and memorable moments on your wedding day, with the most incredible views and scenery that will leave you in awe.

They have two ceremony venues, both offering phenomenal scenery. Starting with the chapels and then the respective venue, with enough distance apart that no two weddings will ever overlap.

OPTION ONE

CHAPEL: The Lake House - seating up to 260 guests - is suspended over the lake and, beyond the altar, the large glass windows look out onto uninterrupted views of the Midlands hills. Adding to its charm is the decorative fireplace. The venue has underfloor heating for those winter weddings and aircon for the summer, so it covers all seasons.

RECEPTION VENUE: The Glass House is polished with neutral decor, high beam ceiling with fairy lights, and gorgeous lighting, and overlooks the magnificent sculpture gardens. This venue can seat up to

350 guests, with a dancefloor, and 400 without a dancefloor.

OPTION TWO

CHAPEL: Valley View is an ‘underground’ chapel with herringbone brick floors and a wood-clad back wall decorated with foliage. The curved mason walls and ceiling are light and soft, with a rustic feel. Stunning views overlook the Blue Crane valley and a water feature directly in front of the chapel with fabulous stonework. The setting just leads to you watching the mist rolling in as you say your vows. How romantic!

RECEPTION VENUE: The Stables can seat up to 100 people or less. This venue is very contemporary with dark walls and screed flooring. It is just so unique with gardens and a fabulous outside area with a built-in firepit.

KirstenVale Wedding Venue is a rustic yet elegant bush wedding venue just outside Pietermaritzburg, KZN. It’s not just a venue for the night of your wedding, but an entire game farm for you and your guests to enjoy over a weekend of celebration.

Along with their versatile reception venue, they offer four spectacular ceremony settings to choose from –the viewing deck (weathersafe), the acacia site, the fig tree and the river boma.

Their reception venue veranda is an obvious choice for a more intimate setting for up to 50 guests. This space has been transformed into multiple unique visions, with breathtaking views over the Karkloof Valley and the sunset over the mountains. The Groves offers destination wedding packages for up to 200 guests. Their wedding offering includes indoor and outdoor spaces for couples to host their unforgettable ceremony.

With clean lines and minimalistic decor, you do not have to spend huge amounts decorating their gorgeous chapel. The space has a stone alcove as you arrive and large, light wooden doors open up into the chapel. Guests are seated on modern wood and metal benches where they are able to witness the couple’s union as well as enjoy the scenery through the large windows out over the farmlands.

The venue supplies a choice of arches that can be used, which their staff will happily move for you after the ceremony so that it can be repurposed in their elegant and contemporary reception venue. Huge blackframed, Tuscan mirrors adorn the main reception wall and an exquisite crystal chandelier hangs over the dance floor. The signing table, DJ table and guest seating are all included in the venue hire.

Haycroft Farm is an exclusive forest wedding venue set in the heart of the Midlands. Their outdoor option for your wedding ceremony is certainly something to gush over!

This magical forest chapel is nestled within the enchanted pine plantation and has witnessed many love stories.

An elevated wooden walkway leads you and your guests into the forest. Their wooden benches are nestled in between the tree trunks, and a wooden deck overlooking the dam will be where you stand and say “I do”. The space can accommodate up to 180 guests.

Also available is their reception venue, which has been built on the edge of the woodland, surrounded by magnificent trees. The front of the venue opens up onto a terraced lawn that rolls down to the water's edge, and the subtle lighting and neutral walls are the perfect blank canvas to create the wedding of your dreams.
