18th National Session of EYP Sweden | Lund 2022

HEAD ORGANISER'S VISION Dear reader, I am thrilled to discover your interest in Lund 2022 – the 18th National Session of EYP Sweden!

At Lund 2022, the theme “We Rise By Lifting Others” speaks to the core mission of the European Youth Parliament network — to inspire and empower a young generation of informed, open-minded, responsible, and active citizens that will shape society and drive impact. Our session aims to materialise these principles by fostering an environment that prioritises the personal development of each individual, and in turn emboldens them to positively influence others. Delegates and officials alike will be met with a safe, inclusive and welcoming space to embrace their passions, showcase their creativity, harness their full potential, and simply thrive for the duration of the session.

My ambition for the Officials Team at Lund 2022, and the session as a whole, can be summarised in three words: unity, trust and supportive collaboration.

HEAD ORGANISER'S VISION While the Academic Team, Media Team, Jury Team and the National Committee bear different responsibilities throughout the session and will operate with a great deal of independence, it is my primary goal to ensure that we all work towards a cohesive vision and produce a session that is greater than the sum of its parts. For this to be possible, we will be dedicating time and energy at Lund 2022 towards strengthening the bonds between the different teams and promoting supportive collaboration pre-session. As Head Organiser, this is especially important to me with regards to my Organising Team since we will be serving as a core supporting pillar for all other teams.

Building personal relationships with each team will be vital for us to maintain open and honest lines of communication, and in turn act preemptively and proactively for the benefit of the delegates.

I sincerely hope to work with you in bringing this session to life, and wish you the best of luck with your application!

NATIONAL COMMITTEE'S VISION Dear reader, Thank you so much for showing interest in applying to Lund 2022. The National board of EYP Sweden envisions Lund 2022 to be a session where both delegates and officials alike can learn and grow. After a long pause from the physical setting, Lund 2022 will be a place and platform where all of you will get a chance to sit together, to not just debate, but also make friendships and memories that will inspire you to make great changes in the world. The National Board envisions motivated and excited participants to be at the center of creating a fruitful environment and excellent experience for everyone. We would like for Lund 2022 to be a place where you can fully be yourself while letting your true colours show.

We are more than thrilled to see that you want to take initiative and work with new people from all around Europe. Lund 2022 is EYP Sweden's flagship event and will be the place where you will get a better chance to get out of our comfort zone, learn by experimenting and rediscover yourselves. Therefore, our first and foremost hope is for you to connect with others, learn to trust them despite the short amount of time and find your own voice.
