TRAINER’S VISION
EYP POLAND AUTUMN TRAINING WEEKEND Our vision for this year’s Autumn Training Weekend of EYP Poland is to make it an interdisciplinary experience, tailored to the needs and interests of its participants. As trainers, we will do our best to satisfy everyone through providing modules on various aspects of EYP, ranging from the traditional Chairing, Media and Organising trainings to discussions on skills we should all possess as EYPers or matters related to the structure of EYP as a network. Our goal will be to accommodate people of all experiences, so whether this would be your first or twentieth EYP training, come, share your point of view and challenge us. The structure of the training will consist of an “EYP Methodology” path, obligatory for all participants, covering the most crucial aspects of work in EYP and focusing on skills relevant for all positions. Besides, the participants will be asked to choose their training track - Chairing, Media or Organising. Within the Chairing and Media tracks they will be required to follow the core modules and will have an option to attend additional modules. The latter will also be available to those following another track.
The Organising track will be oriented at future Head Organisers and Core Organisers of Polish events and the selection of participants will be held separately by the Board of EYP Poland. The “EYP Methodology� modules will be delivered by all trainers. Ali Okumusoglu (LU) and Marta Sznajder (PL) will lead the Chairing track, while Maciej Kuczynski (PL) and Alicja Turakiewicz (PL) will work with the Media one. The future Organisers will be trained by the Board of EYP Poland. Finally, we promise we will aim to create a positive and safe learning environment, where everyone would feel welcome to raise questions and share their points of view. At the same time, we will do our best to conduct all of this in a relatively chilled and fun atmosphere. Sounds like a perfect way to spend your weekend, right? Alicja, Ali, Maciej & Marta
