Poznan in facts After a full and busy day of Committee Work all of you got to explore the beautiful city of Poznan. Hours were spend on walking between our hostel and the school that hosted your committee work. Songs were sang in the streets and picures were taken with Watchers. For many delegates and international officials, the RSC 2018 was their first time in the energetic student city of Poznań. However, between the big fat ponies and honeys who just can’t smile, which roamed the streets between Saturday and Monday, the participants didn’t have the chance to really get to know the city. Yet there is so much to see, hear, smell and know about this city, even beyond the tour you walked on Sunday evening. So the media team decided it is time to up your knowledge on this town that has been hosting us for the past couple of days.

What’s next? Probably when you are reading this Issue the session will almost be over, but hopefully the memories are still fresh and visible. Maybe you still reminisce about all these tough and intense discussions during committee work or you think about the fun you had during teambuilding. Obviously General Assembly has also been engrained in your memory as this is the moment you, together with your committee, can see the results of the hard work and effort you put into the session. No matter what you have gained from the session, it must have had an impact on a personal and individual level, since self-development is an essential part of EYP. As the end of the session is in sight, the question remaining is “What is next?”. Tim Keegstra - President of the session “I still remember my regional session as a delegate as if it was yesterday. It took place at my own high school in Nieuwegein, the Netherlands. My school had had won the selection process every other previous year, and of course I was set on continuing this tradition. It was also because of that, that I felt heart broken when I heard my school delegation had nog been selected to proceed to the national session. I had heard amazing stories about EYP from my friends that particpated in previous years, and wanted so bad to also be able to get the change to experience that. Then I got lucky, my teacher arranged for me to participate in a foreign session. A feeling of pure happiness appeared when I heard the words: “You are going to Istanbul”. It was also with these words that my EYP journey began. It has been over 9 years, and I still love participating as much as I did back then.”
