Come outside!
“For lo, the winter is past, the raine is ouer, and gone. The flowers appeare on the earth, the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land”
In this issue
We look forward to a sparkling spring with several bright new features. The great outdoors has taken over our centre spread and there are more temptations on the following pages too. We welcome a number of contributions by and for young people – celebrating achievement, responding to challenge and offering new activities. For the rest of us, as ever, there is almost too much choice. Reflections on local residents, both recent and long ago, find space as well (pages 3, 14, 15) – as you might expect in this war centenary year.
