You’ll find lots of interest going on around the village now so look out for the unexpected: every good tradition starts somewhere.
Eynsham’s annual celebrations begin with Eynsham Morris; get into full swing at Carnival, as you’ll read inside; and settle into autumn with a show. This year’s Eynsham Village Show takes place on Saturday 21 September. EVS Chair, Fay Taylor, says: “There will be lots of the traditional classes that many of you enter with gusto each year and we’ve added some new ones just to keep you on your toes! With so much TV interest in ‘traditional’ activities we hope that many of you have been bitten by the bugs of cooking, baking and sewing – as well as the other sections such as photography, flower arranging and vegetable growing. “We have lots of classes in the children’s section so please encourage village youngsters to take part too. We look forward to seeing you.” You can get ahead of the competition with a preview of the Class List at http://eynshamvillageshow.info –
