EYNSHAM

Council & Community Issue 14 – August - September 2015

By a twist of fate, two significant local projects were unveiled as we went to press. A newly-enabled BT cabinet in Queens Lane offers superfast broadband to 73 residents and businesses, should they opt in to the service. More details and a list of suppliers at www.betterbroadbandoxfordshire.org.uk Of wider interest will be Oxfordshire County Council’s £38m scheme to unblock the A40 – an Eynsham park and ride; improvements to existing junctions; a bus lane into Oxford; and a bus priority lane on the approach to the toll bridge. We can welcome the aim behind these measures, whatever our views on the detail. Eynsham News continues working toward a connected community while we wait. 1
