Something in the Way

is a special issue published by Eyescape Magazine based on free submissions received from all over the world, on the occasion of a specific open call.

The theme title was announced well in advance with no explanation, with the purpose of stimulating personal interpretation.

Reflecting the same artistic process that underpins all of our visual curation activities, the selected pictures have been interconnected, aiming to create a sort of metaphorical journey, in which we can see ourselves.

In addition to this, we asked the selected entrants to suggest a song of their choice that resonated with the theme “Something in the Way.”

The result is an eclectic, intriguing and variegated playlist that you can access below.
