Shock at death of local priest By Margaret Gallagher

A huge crowd of mourners attended the funeral Mass of Fr Seamus Gallagher in St Mary’s Church, Frosses on Monday and later St. Naul’s Cemetery where he was laid to rest. On Friday evening his remains arrived at St. Crona’s Church, Dungloe for Mass at 7.30pm and reposed over night. On Saturday his funeral cortege was piped by a lone piper over the Gweebarra Bridge as he left the Rosses for the last time and returned to Frosses where his remains reposed in the Parochial House on Saturday evening and all day Sunday.
