All About Ms. Schwaiger

Written by Alana S. Phoenix

Ms. Schwaiger was 16 and went to Tabb High School in Yorktown, Virginia. She first realized that she wanted to work at A.G. Wright when she did a practicum at our school in the Spring of 2021. In, this case, a practicum would be Ms. Schwaiger coming to our school to see what it's like to have a teacher role in a classroom. She went to the University of Mary Washington for her degrees in teaching. She has her Bachelor's Degree in creative writing and a Master's degree in secondary education. She started working at A.G. Wright in august.

The reason her room is decorated the way it is, is because she believes that rainbows are very cheerful. Also, she has frogs all over her walls because frogs are her favorite animal, other than cats. The theme of Ms. Schwaiger's room is colorful, cheerful, and in my opinion, comfortable. She feels that if she could give her 6th grade self a piece of advice, it would be to not stress so much about the little things in life. I agree with this because if you stress out too much about the small things in life, you will miss out on important events, such as getting another sibling or meeting new friends.

Who is Mr. Flynn?

By: Austin Veade

Mr. Flynn loves his job as a substitute teacher, but he wants to be a full-time teacher at A.G.Wright. I asked Mr. Flynn what his career goals are, to which he replied, "to become a science teacher." He loves the school community. A.G.Wright is his favorite middle school , in fact he went to A.G.Wright middle school when he was younger! He chose to create the A.G.Wright magazine because he wanted to offer more after school academic clubs.

People say Cupid is one devious little angel. Cupid goes by many names, such as Eros or Amour. Cupid originally comes from Greek mythology. But Cupid does not just shoot humans, Cupid also shoots gods. Many gods and mortals refer to Cupid as the god of love, becuase he makes them fall in love with others. He is most known for getting together the god of Eros and Psyche.

The origin and identity of this holiday's deity is widely considered elusive, as it was apparently even unknown to the very Romans who worshiped him.

The 19th- century historian William Fowler wrote: "It is quite plain that the Roman of the literary age did not know who the god [of love ] was."

Kayla said, "I prefer to have one good friend and I want them to always be a great friend with me "

1 Friend Or Lots Of Friends

Mrs. King said " Id rather have one friend because I prefer to have a smaller group of people"

Mrs. Conville said "Id rather have one friend because I want just one person to trust and to trust me for the rest of my life."

Sophie Said, "I prefer to have lots of friends because everyone is different and the more friends you have, the more experiences and traditions you will hear, which is good because you are exploring things that you probably never thought of. But, if it’ s a group of BAD friends, I don’t think you should learn from them.

Don't forget to wear your green!
