This season, we head to Colorado to rejuvenate that inspiration with our newest group of makers. It’s no surprise that these doers, dreamers and creators all find daily inspiration from the incredible, majestic Rocky Mountains. We were inspired by each of their stories and how they have pursued their passions while always remaining true to who they are.

Living and creating in a community nestled neatly against the Rocky Mountains means inspiration around every corner. Colorado natives and transplants alike flock to the mountains, summoned by the allure that is a lifestyle that welcomes artists, athletes and business people,

Hannah Hazel Glass Lifelong learner and creator, Hannah Hazel, stumbled into a love of stained-glass making through a community workshop. Today, Hannah creates incredible, unique stained-glass pieces – as well as hand-carved rubber stamps – out of her studio in Boulder.

Lentine Colorado native Lentine Alexis is equal parts badass athlete and unconventional chef. Driven to explore holistic food outside the four walls of a restaurant, Lentine develops recipes, menus and experiences in the space where sport, wellness and food collide.

Backyard Berry Porridge INGREDIENTS:

1 cup rolled oats (not quick cooking) 3 tablespoon millet, uncooked 2 tablespoon chia seeds 1 1/3 cup coconut milk 2 tablespoon maple syrup, plus more for serving 1 large pinch flaky sea salt 2 tablespoon ghee, divided 1 cup mixed berries such as raspberries, pitted cherries, blackberries or blueberries 2 tablespoon each unsweetened coconut flakes and toasted sunflower seeds INSTRUCTIONS:

In a small saucepan over medium high heat, warm 1 tablespoon of ghee.

Add the oats, millet and chia seeds and stir to toast the grains until they become slightly fragrant. Add the coconut milk, maple syrup and salt.

Simmer the porridge, stirring frequently, until the liquid has been completely absorbed and the oats are cooked through. The chia seeds will have absorbed enough liquid that they’ll look like little eyes, though the millet seeds will still be a bit crunchy.

Divide between 2 bowls, top with more berries, sunflower seeds, COVER: coconutLENTINE flakes and a dollop of the remaining ghee.
