Throughout the 2022 season the world’s best athletes, horses, team managers and owners have been in pursuit for a ticket to this phenomenal four day event, which offers up an unprecedented millions of euros in prize money.

The phenomenal four day event was once again praised by show jumping legend last year Marcus Ehning saying: “I have done this sport for a long time and I have never seen anything like this before. It’s great for the sport and we’re very happy to be a part of it.”

Current world number one Henrik von Eckermann triumphed last year in the exclusive Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix while it was London Knights who stood on top of the podium of the €6 million GCL Super Cup.

With the Playoffs concept thriving in its fourth year together with Title Partner and Official Timekeeper Longines, the Longines Global Champions Tour has continued to grow and innovate over its 16 year history, delivering world class show jumping in breathtaking destinations around the globe. The GCL then added a thrilling new dimension to the sport in 2016, with top riders from different countries teaming up for the first time in top level competition and U25 talent given the opportunity to kick start their careers and perform on the highest international stage.

On Saturday 19 November, 15 of the world’s top riders will fight for victory in the ultimate showdown in show jumping in the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix, offering 1.25 million euros in prize money. The challengers are a formidable line up of the world’s best in show jumping but there can only be one winner on Saturday night as they compete for top honours in the hotly-contested competition. The GC Playoffs will see a roller-coaster of eliminations, upsets and glory as teams battle through the Quarter Final, Semi-Final and Final stages of the GCL Super Cup. Sixteen teams will take centre stage in Prague, with the top four teams of the 2022 season, Berlin Eagles, Stockholm Hearts, home team Prague Lions and Shanghai Swans automatically fast-tracked directly to the Semi Finals, promising an edgeof-the-seat Finale on Sunday.

The GC Playoffs is hosted by the magical Czech capital Prague, one of the world’s most beautiful cities and a UNESCO World Heritage site, promising unforgettable excitement for equestrian fans worldwide. Prague, known as “the City of a hundred spires”, will stage the GC Playoffs over four days at the O2 arena with top-level sport and great entertainment for spectators. International visitors can enjoy the contrast of Prague’s historic Baroque architecture and the famous Castle and the cool modern neighbourhoods and art and design zones.

Team tactics and strategic changes to riders and horses during the 2022 GCL competitions have already added fresh energy to the sport. The easy-to-follow GC Playoffs will again produce more entertaining stats and graphics for fans with expert commentary for digital viewers and new technical innovations to enhance the fan experience.

GCL Super Cup team competition kicks off at 8pm CET Thursday 17 November and equestrian fans around the world will be able to watch live on GCTV and enjoy a series of stunning opening ceremonies and entertainment shows in the indoor arena in the Czech Republic’s beautiful capital city.

Galashow Prague Playoffs je již čtvrtým rokem provázána s titulárním partnerem a oficiální časomírou Longines. V sobotu 19. listopadu budou nejlepší světoví jezdci bojovat o vítězství v konečném zúčtování Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix, které nabídne odměnu 1,25 milionu eur. Sestavu vyzyvatelů tvoří impozantní řada nejlepších světových hvězd parkurového skákání, nejvyšší odměny se ale v sobotu večer dostane pouze jedinému z nich. Během čtvrtfinálových, semifinálových a finálových fází GCL Super Cupu zažijí soupeřící týmy na GC Playoffs kolotoč vyřazování, zklamání a slávy. Na kolbišti se v Praze představí šestnáct týmů, v čele s čtveřicí nejlepších ekip sezóny 2022, Berlin Eagles, Stockholm Hearts, domácí tým Prague Lions a Shanghai Swans, které se automaticky kvalifikovaly přímo do semifinále. Samotné nedělní finále tak slibuje podívanou nejvyšší kvality.
