The atmosphere is unmissable with the evening competitions under floodlights creating a truly special atmosphere. We are sure to see intense competition in the Longines Global Champions Tour and among the GCL teams.
I would like to thank our long-time Title Partner and Official Timekeeper Longines for our enduring partnership and I wish all our fans a superb weekend of the very best in show jumping.

As a passionate breeder of dressage horses, in 2026 I wish to be able to bring high-level dressage back to this beautiful event as we had the opportunity to do in the past.

The 2025 Longines Global Champions Tour in Cannes is the perfect occasion to present the models of the Longines Conquest collection. These automatic watches combine sporty elegance with robustness for everyday use. Available in a range of sizes, colours and materials, these timepieces effortlessly adapt to any occasion.
THE EVERY DAY WATCH
Elegance isn’t reserved for special occasions. The ultimate every day watch, Conquest says it loud and clear. An evocation of daring and of creative spirit, the collection was the first Longines watch line to have its name protected, in 1954, by the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI). Over time, the Conquest line has evolved in terms of design and technology, while remaining true to its original spirit, a blend of boldness, timelessness, and sporty elegance.
The 34 mm three-hand versions offer a choice of dial colours, including blue, pink and green. Day or night, in trainers or heels, these models are suitable for any setting or activity. Elegant and understated, the dial has external snailing that makes the colour more vibrant and intense. It features eleven applied silvered hour markers and a date aperture at 6 o’clock. The hour markers at 3, 9 and 12 o’clock, coated with Super-LumiNova®, like the polished rhodium-plated hour and minute hands, offer optimum legibility. To fit all wrists, the Conquest three-hand model is also available with 30 mm and 38 mm steel or diamond-set steel cases. The 42mm Conquest chronograph has also been expanded with the introduction of new strap options and dials.
All these Conquest watches are powered by exclusive Longines self-winding mechanical movements equipped with a silicon balance-spring and components made of non-magnetic material. This ensures resistance to magnetic fields that exceeds the ISO 764 standard by a multiple of ten.

The 2025 Longines Global Champions Tour launches the pinnacle of individual show jumping competition, spanning prestigious destinations worldwide, culminating in the final event of the year—the GC Prague Playoffs, now established as a landmark in the equestrian calendar.
Horses and riders are tested to their limits on intricate courses, in diverse arenas, and under the pressure of fierce competition. The tour brings together the world’s best equine and human athletes across Asia, Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East, beginning in Doha and travelling to iconic venues such as Mexico City, Monaco, Paris, Shanghai and more.
The much-anticipated Longines Global Champions Tour title, won by Max Kühner in 2024, is back up for grabs. Meanwhile, the thrilling pursuit of the coveted Golden Tickets continues, with only 1 available for qualification per event into the prestigious Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix at the GC Playoffs in November. These tickets are awarded to winners of the LGCT Grand Prix classes at each tour stop.
At every event, the LGCT Grand Prix takes centre stage, featuring challenging 1.60m courses. Riders must carefully select horses best suited for each unique location. Only the top 40 combinations qualify for the LGCT Grand Prix through a 5* class, with valuable ranking points and prize money on the line. Competitors accumulate points throughout the year, with each rider’s best eight results contributing to their final championship ranking.
The stakes are higher than ever, as every LGCT Grand Prix victory secures a Golden Ticket for the LGCT Super Grand Prix, adding an extra layer of excitement to the series. But first all eyes will be on Riyadh as the regular season concludes with the crowning of the Champion of Champions for 2025, in what promises to be a breathtaking final.

The Longines Global Champions Tour and GCL jetted into the sizzling hotspot of Cannes with temperatures rising in the individual and team championships. The event welcomed a true A-list of the world’s top performing horses and riders as the 7th stage of the LGCT circuit unfolded close to the world famous Croisette and beautiful Bay of Cannes.
Under floodlights the GCL Presented by Volvo Cavallari it was a powerful win for Stockholm Hearts powered by H&M We Love Horses giving them the overall championship lead by only by a wafer thin margin. Riesenbeck International powered by Kingsland Equestrian and Madrid in Motion completed the podium. In the LGCT Grand Prix of Cannes presented by La Ville de Cannes, Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmerman and her 12-year-old bay Messi van’t Ruytershof stormed to victory with Gilles Thomas and Matthieu Billot wrapping up the podium. Eduardo Alvarez Aznar kept his grip on the overall ranking lead.

INTRODUCING THE
BARAN GLOBAL HUNTER CLASSIC
A CELEBRATION OF EQUESTRIAN EXCELLENCE FROM 11 TO 13 JULY AT LONGINES TOPS INTERNATIONAL ARENA
The show hunter discipline will finally have its day in a brand new, championship format taking place at the world-class Longines Tops International Arena in Valkenswaard, the Netherlands. The Baran Global Hunter Classic is a three-day, €300,000 prizemoney hunter competition designed to elevate the discipline on the world stage.
Showcasing the globe’s best performance hunter combinations, the class—co-founded by Kristen Baran and Andrew Lustig—will invite the top 10 riders from a combination of USHJA International Hunter Derby Championships, USHJA World Champion Hunter Rider standings, and wildcard spots.
Each ‘team captain’ in the Baran Global Hunter Classic will be paired with a junior or amateur rider of their choice, as well as an international jumper athlete currently ranked in the Top 50 on the Longines Rankings. The combined field of 30 riders will compete over the course of three days in various warm-up, under saddle, and 3’6” hunter and handy hunter rounds. Scores will be based on handiness, pace, track, and ‘brilliance,’ and will be awarded by an esteemed panel of hunter judges.
The result? An innovative, visionary event that aims to redefine the future of elite hunter competition on both sides of the pond.
