Canungra

DO: At Mountview Alpaca Farm, in the grounds of O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards, you can feed and walk the adorable residents or enjoy a Family Alpaca Picnic.

EAT: Linger at Canungra Valley Vineyards and pick up a homestead picnic basket with a bottle of their wine to enjoy on the grounds.

DO: Don’t leave without visiting The Outpost Café, built in 1946, and its award-winning pies. Canungra Creek is a scenic spot for a walk and a picnic.

Tamborine Mountain

DO: Walk among ancient trees and soak in the panoramic views on the Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk, explore the glow worm caves in the grounds of Cedar Creek Winery or chase waterfalls on Curtis Falls Walking Track.

EAT: Picnic in style at the new food, art and nature space, North Stores. Their Picnic Real Food Bar lets you enjoy seasonal fare on the deck or have it packed up to enjoy at one of the mountain’s scenic spots.

DRINK: You’re spoilt for choice with a slew of top-notch wineries such as Mason Wines and Witches Falls Winery. Try the award-winning gin at Cauldron Distillery, and enjoy beer and good vibes at Fortitude Brewing Co.
