Batesville's Best Parks
Batesville is home to some of the region's best parks. Visit them all and check them off your Batesville bucket list.
The City of Batesville’s COMMUNITY CENTER & AQUATICS PARK is the area’s premier facility, featuring a 25,000-squarefoot gym for athletic and community events. The indoor aquatics center boasts a competition pool, a children’s pool, and a heated therapy pool. The outdoor aquatics park is sure to amaze with twostory spiral slides, a lazy river, tanning decks, and much more.

The EAST MAIN SPORTS COMPLEX is Batesville’s newest and finest soccer facility. You’ll find numerous soccer fields, a pavilion, a horse arena, a concession stand with accessible bathrooms, and a playground.
Located on the south side of the White River, KENNEDY PARK is home to the Mark House Memorial Boat Ramp and Pavilion. Kennedy Park’s playground is located under a grove of trees and is perfect for the little ones on sunny summer days. After a full day at the park, or exploring the sand bar, unload your boat and watch the sunset on the beautiful White River.
MAXFIELD PARK is the newest addition to the Batesville Parks family in Downtown Batesville. The park features a stage for live music and a unique play-scape for children made from reclaimed equipment and materials.
The WEST SPLASH PARK is an interactive splash pad with unique water features that offer fun for all users and is located on the southern side of West Elementary.
The MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE is a quaint ninehole course near the White River and is enjoyable for new and experienced golfers. With two sets of tees to complete the 18-hole track, you are afforded a second chance at the course if you falter initially.
RIVERSIDE PARK is located alongside the beautiful White River and is a local favorite, with its playgrounds, walking paths, pavilions, dog park, large amphitheater, and plentiful green space. The park is home to several events and festivals throughout the year, including Citizens Bank’s Fourth of July fireworks show and the White River Wonderland Christmas lights display.
TERRY SIMS DIAMOND SPORTS COMPLEX contains seventeen baseball and softball fields to suit your needs, from t-ball to adult leagues.
PAUL H. “ROCKY” WILLMUTH SHOOTING SPORTS COMPLEX consists of three skeet, five trap fields, and an archery field. The range also includes voice-activated release systems.
The CITIZENS BANK POCKET PARK , located in Downtown Batesville, is home to the Main Street Farmers Market, the annual PRIDE rally, weddings, parties, the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony, private events, and more.
POKE BAYOU PARK is located on the north side of Batesville and features the perfect place to launch a kayak for an afternoon float.
