Art at Azimuth

A melding of creative minds and cross-cultural exchange, art is an intrinsic part of the Azimuth experience. For Azimuth 2023, the location reflects AlUla’s growth in the global art scene by taking place amongst the large-scale art installations of Desert X AlUla 2023.

Seen from the stage area or between music performances and DJ sets, festival goers can explore the large-scale art installations remaining in Ashar Valley.

Addressing globalisation, migration and water equity, Clottey’s design takes plastic containers used in Ghana for storing and transporting water to create a waterfall down the mountainside.

Changing the viewer’s perspective on the natural desert landscapes and objects, Kwade’s frames create a fine line between reality and illusion.
