2024wasanotheryearofgrowthfortheExpectGroupdespitetoughtradingconditions,aswe managedtoonboardanumberofnewcustomersintoourwarehousesandbegantorealisea threeyearinvestmentinourFGHSiteonThorntonRoad.
We also successfully integrated the acquisition of our Colchester based depot Pallet Plus into thegroup,bringinggreatercoveragethroughtheExpectGroupfleetforourcustomerbaseand unifiedwaysofworkingacrossbothbusinesses.

PEAK CLIMBED
Well, what a peak period we had!
I reckon climbing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks in July was easier!
We seem to say it every year but peak is more volatile, challenging and unpredictable every year and 2024 was no exception. We saw several unanticipated spikes in volume, storms and many other challenges
Our aim is to always provide the best possible service that we can for our customers and hopefully you believe we gave our best for you.
There are lessons to be learnt as always from any peak period We have made and will continue to make changes to people, process and systems to help drive continued service improvement Where this needs discussing with you specifically your point of contact will be in touch directly.
