We pride ourselves on developing you beyond the curriculum. Whilst with us you will engage in a personal development curriculum during your tutorial time which is designed to help you consider those all-important next steps after your studies with us.
College helped me get to a point where I was the fastest female Dragon Boater for three years running.

Work Experience
Work experience is an invaluable, extra part of your learning programme. It is a great way to develop your knowledge and skills as well as building confidence and character whilst introducing you to what it is like to work in your chosen industry or career. It can also help you decide what career or job you might like in the future. Exeter College has exceptional links with employers to help students secure work experience placements and hear from experts in industry.
Careers and University Advice
While at College you can visit our Future Steps Team who will help you make informed decisions about your future. Our team are able to offer impartial advice to all students. The Advisers coordinate a range of external visitors throughout the year to include employers, universities, Apprenticeship providers, gap year and volunteering opportunities. The team can offer support on future steps at Exeter College and other further education organisations, UCAS and university applications, gap year, volunteering, Apprenticeships and finding employment.

I enjoy doing a hands-on subject and I get to use all the fantastic equipment that is available to develop my skills. My tutor helped me to secure work experience and I have been filming games at Exeter City Football Club. Next year I am planning to go to UCFB to study Football Business BA (Hons).
