Peanut butter is normally a thick yummy food paste mainly comprising of crushed ground nuts which are coupled by emulsifiers and salt. “Nutrie Foods empowers rural women through training them on effective farming ways for peanuts, maize and sugar beans. So basically we are all about also economically empowering rural women” she said. Quizzed about her secret to success the cheerful Ndlovu atMy passion and attitude make me love what I do and it doesn’t feel like work. “ ”
“I started Nutrie Foods with the aim of value addition of peanuts to economically empower rural women farmers who are harvesting their yield but never had a market” she said.
She said that rural farmers including her own mother shun peanuts as they have post-harvest losses and have no big returns hence she decided to be a market for pea

“My passion and attitude make me love what I do and it doesn’t feel like work. My mother is also my supportive pillar and also not forgetting the powerful and supportive women who are goal getters. They taught me that failure is not an option” she said.
Besides having a strong support system Ndlovu has the pedigree to make things happen and has a number of accolades which prove it. In 2017 she won the ZNCC WECA award in the manufacturing sector, Brilliant Entrepreneur’s Program in Netherlands (2016), Nelson Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders Business and Entrepreneurship- Northwest University (2016), USA – African Development Foundation Grant 2016 , Entrepreneur Venture Exchange Program (Kenya, 2015) and ZNCC WECA Awards 2015 second runner up.
