Christmas is one of our favourite times of year at Pennyhill Park. The twinkling of the Christmas lights in the hotel lobby, the crackling of open fires burning, the smell of pine needles and the infectious sound of laughter in the bar makes Pennyhill Park a wonderful place to spend the festive period.

CHRISTMAS EVE A sense of occasion, an air of expectation, there are activities aplenty for the whole family – or just you - to enjoy.

TUESDAY 24TH DECEMBER

From 12.00pm: Arrive at your leisure, a welcome drink and a home-baked treat will be waiting for you! Start the celebration from the moment you arrive! (Bedrooms available from 3pm).

1.00pm: Relax in The Spa, treat yourself to an invigorating treatment or join an exercise class in the studio.* 1.00pm to 5.00pm: High tea with a glass of fizz will be served in The Brasserie.

6.45pm: Enjoy carol singers in The Ascot Bar, with welcome drinks and a canapé reception.

7.30pm: Christmas Eve candlelit dinner. Enjoy a four-course dinner, including half a bottle of wine per person whilst you’re entertained by our jazz band.

From 9.30pm: For those wishing to attend a Christmas Eve service, your transport awaits (pre-booking required) and later, we’ll welcome you back to the warmth of the hotel with mulled wine and mince pies, before you tiptoe off to bed to dream of what Santa might bring you!

*A timetable will be available and pre-booking is required with a cost supplement for treatments.

WEDNESDAY 25TH DECEMBER

8.00am to 10.30am: Enjoy a hearty country breakfast in The Brasserie restaurant and savour the thought of a Christmas Day full of pampering and relaxation.

10.00am to 12.00pm: A chance to take the children to ‘Splash Time’ in The Spa, the pool is all yours from 10am - 12pm. (Parental supervision required). Younger guests can also enjoy a cookie and hot chocolate afterwards.

From 12.00pm: A glass of fizz awaits you at the pre-lunch drinks reception ahead of the day’s main event.

12.30pm to 2.30pm: Join us for a delicious Christmas lunch buffet and choose a little of whatever takes your fancy! Look out for an appearance from the man himself, bearing gifts for all the children!

(Includes half a bottle of wine per person).

Dress code: smart casual.

3.00pm: Head to the lounge for the time honoured tradition of the Queen’s speech. Afterwards, enjoy our selection of games downstairs in the Drawing Room, such as Monopoly, Scrabble or play pool and table tennis in one of our lounges. Alternatively, enjoy a film with popcorn and snacks in the screening room.

The Spa will also be open for festive pampering.* 7.00pm: A light, buffet supper will be served in The Brasserie with half a bottle of wine per person! After dinner, sharpen up those pencils for the Pennyhill Park Christmas Quiz!

CHRISTMAS DAY

BOXING DAY A day for relaxing, so perhaps leave the boxing gloves at home.

THURSDAY 26TH DECEMBER

8.00am to 10.30am: Start the day with an energising breakfast served in The Brasserie or Themis restaurant.

12.00pm to 2.00pm: Enjoy a delicious three-course lunch served in our private dining room with half a bottle of wine.

2:15pm to 3:45pm: Under the supervision of our professional falconer, guests are invited to handle and fly some of the world’s most beautiful birds. It is an unforgettable moment when a Hawk swoops out of the sky and lands on your hand for the first time!

3.00pm to 5.00pm: It’s Splash Time in the pool, available for children of all ages. (Parental supervision required). For the adults, enjoy an indulgent treatment in The Spa.* 7.00pm: Enjoy a sparkling drinks reception ahead of the evening’s festivities.

7.30 pm: Enjoy a stunning three-course dinner with half a bottle of wine per person and live entertainment.

Dress code: smart dress.

FRIDAY 27TH DECEMBER

From 7.00am to 10.30am: Take a leisurely breakfast in The Brasserie before saying goodbye to friends and family and preparing for the journey home.

If you are on your Christmas holidays, why not extend your stay?

We have a very special overnight rate from ÂŁ245 to include a full English breakfast and use of the spa facilities from 3pm on check in day until 2pm on check out day.

But if you cannot stay longer, we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11.00am.

From 3pm: Arrive at your leisure, relax in The Spa or enjoy a leisurely walk around the grounds of Pennyhill Park.

7:00pm: Enjoy a delicious three-course dinner and half a bottle of wine per person, served in The Brasserie followed by after dinner drinks in The Ascot Bar.

TUESDAY 31ST DECEMBER

7:00am to 10:30am: Enjoy a full English breakfast in The Brasserie.

During the day: Wrap up warm and head outside for a stroll around our walking trails. For the less energetic, relax by the fire with the paper or a good book. Our spa is open to help you get ready for the big event.

From 7.30pm: Join us for a Champagne reception ahead of a sumptuous five-course set menu with half a bottle of wine.* After dinner, dance all night with our live band, pausing for a moment to toast the New Year. We’ll even offer late night snacks to banish those after midnight munchies. *Matt Worswick at The Latymer Upgrade to our award-winning restaurant for just £50.00 supplement per person.

NEW YEAR’S DAY

WEDNESDAY 1ST JANUARY

8.00am to 10.30am: Enjoy a slow lazy morning with perhaps a Bloody Mary breakfast in The Brasserie, then take a refreshing stroll around the grounds or enjoy a length or two in the pool.

Or why not stay a little longer and enjoy our New Year’s Day jazz buffet brunch!

Enjoy the mouth-watering delights of our beautiful brunch, accompanied by our jazz band! £50.00 per person.
