Dive into Safety! Attention Safety Advocates, summer is here! Along with the warmer weather comes a different set of safety concerns. Whether you are in the pool, doing yard work or behind the grill, you need to ‘dive’ into safety. Along with your team, create your safety wall to showcase summer safety. This could include wearing protective equipment for certain outdoor activities, water training and grilling safety. Safety Advocates should have received an email from Lisa Yetter on July 19 with full details on the contest. Questions? Ask your safety officer! Submissions must be received no later than September 9.

New Treatment Techniques at Outpatient Rehabilitation Services Excela Health Outpatient Rehabilitation Services has multiple techniques to improve mobility, including ‘flossing’. A therapist will tightly wrap an elastic band around affected area, then patients are guided through a range of motions. This technique can improve range of motion, decrease pain in joints, and help with recovery. Talk to your physician or physical therapist to see if this treatment may be right for you.
