Happy Birthday to Insight! Time really flies when you're having fun- Excela Insight turns one-year-old today! Thank you to all of our readers for following along and taking the time to keep up to date on the happenings at Excela Health. To celebrate Insight’s birthday we are having a contest to see who has been paying close attention in the past year. Since the first edition, how many different variations of the Excela Insight logo have there been? This number excludes the regular logo. The Red Pen is Retiring! The Excela Insight staff wants to send a special thank you to Linda Gioia Simon. She is retiring after more than 30 years of service. Each edition of Excela Insight has been thoroughly vetted by Linda and her legendary red pen. Through her many corrections, she sought to instill her vast knowledge of writing skills to all who worked with her. She will be missed around the office, but we always know where to find her- in her garden. Thank you, Linda!
Second Annual Employee Guest Chef! Back by popular demand, Excela Health will host its second annual Employee Guest Chef Contest. It will take place at Westmoreland, Frick and Latrobe Hospitals. If you have a special family recipe that you would like to share or just want to try your hand at cooking in our cafe, call 724-832-4413 for details on how to participate. Prizes will be awarded to the guest chef with the highest sales. The contest will take place from May 1 to August 31; you must be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on your assigned day.
On the move! Excela Health Gastroenterology Greensburg is moving to a new location. Currently located at 545 Rugh Street, Greensburg, they will move to Medical Commons One, 530 South Street, Suite G20, Greensburg on April 25. They will begin seeing patients at the new location on April 29. The phone number for the office will remain the same, 724-836-5500.
